  2. Vote Beer party Hic ish got my vose
  3. ok the power button holds gearchanges to the redline for fast acccel then overdrive off as well
  4. try the climate control diagnostics to see if its a faulty solenoid
  5. Ok this happened to me once and it was just a loose coil connector go out and look at your coil pack connectors and push them back on to see if loose if that doesnt work out try disconnecting one at a time to see if it makes a difference if it doesnt you have found the offending cylinder if its a problem like that look here for diagnostic info http://www.aus300zx.com/tech/ecu_diagnotic/ECU%20Diagnostic%20Switch.htm
  6. wd40 isnt a penetrant but a water displacement fluid, doesnt have the right properties for a good penetrant...oooerrr
  7. looks like you may have to rewire the connectors up, do a continuity check between the connector and a few cm up the wire, if they r ok then replace sender
  8. Mine was on castle coombe last week with a prodrive sti behind me and we were roughly the same pulling away untill i got to the double bubble figure so a wrx shouldnt of been to much hassle
  9. what time did ya get there mate as i was there from early to 3pm was with SWPC Did the parade laps , not doing the race time till i get better brakes me on parade laps http://media.putfile.com/Me-castle-coombe
  10. I got used to the standard boost and upped mine to 13psi and I can deffinitely say this is quicker than a m3...the boot in the back is awesome now and takes off so quick it is worrying sometimes...god bless overdrive off
  11. look at the z centres website for pictures Best advice i can give after fitting mine is dont piss around trying to do it without removing the fan shroud and also you will need to get underneath to gain good access to the standard autobox cooler pipes
  12. I think mine is running great but am still taking it to a RR as its only 70 quid for an hours diagnostic run
  13. chi sau is a part of a lot of martil systems due to its tactile development and it is damn good as well
  14. best way of telling safety boost is get a propper boost gauge fitted
  15. I only did the parade laps which were a bit of a mess around but was very impressed with the grip it was giving , didnt want to do real track time and probably wont in this as i would be gutted if i stoofed it, but this did get me into this kind of thing and im considering a mr2 as a track car for action days like this
  16. I was training with ray burns but he was a bit unreliable on the turning up for private lessons bit
  17. Tony Be very carefull with your kid and martial arts, make sure when he is practicing that he isnt over extending his knee joints or his elbow joints, when they are young they dont realise the damage they are doing...( before anyone starts picking holes this advice comes from experience as I was a lau gar black belt at 13 ) I have studied many different arts and the ones I found most fun were Jeet Kune Do and Silat but you may have difficulty locating a good silat instructor, plus you might not want your kid doing silat anyway.
  18. chris at greddy does em but do a search for sandwich plates on any search engine and go shop...just make sure you get one with the right thread
  19. if you are going to run both pressure and temp i would go for a sandwich plate just pressure is easy cause you can get senders with the same thread as the OE ones and fit them into the OE fitment
  20. First is of me having a laugh on the parade laps second is a montage of track laps http://media.putfile.com/Me-castle-coombe http://media.putfile.com/coombe-vids
  21. Also if you think you will spot DET by the temp gauge moving forget it, the temp gauge on the 300ZX wouldnt move for a apocolypse let alone DET, the temp gauge on our cars will quite happily sit in the middle whilst the car starts cooking itself, if it does go up then you are already overheating and its getting a bit late...hehe.
  22. Always use optimax There has been a lot of discussion about this in the last few months with the advent of tescos 99 ron fuel, a lot of tests carried out. optimax still gives the best igniton advance on the test beds and still gives the better det protection, for the sake of £5 saving on a tank of petrol it doesnt make scense
  23. Highly tuned Z Vx220 turbo M5 lancia delta intergralle S1 audi
