one set of clips to take a look at is a small pipe under your fuel regulator as its a pig to see and the clips dont often get tightened there. Also check the clips on the small pipe under the throttle linkage joining fuel rails.
  7. why not download something like software sandra lite and it will tell you what sound card is installed and wether it is onboard or a slot type Once you have that found out just download the drivers and et voila

  10. .4 is safety boost I would think that timing would of been retarded rather than boost reduced for lower ron fuels Try a ecu check to see if you get any codes http://www.aus300zx.com/tech/ecu_diagnotic/ECU%20Diagnostic%20Switch.htm
  11. depends what is wrong first any driveshaft problem can be dangerous imagine a high speed rotating shaft starting to oscilate and then whipping through the bottom of the car into your arse...worst case scenario
  12. could also be rear box mount sagging putting the shaft bearing out a bit, rear box mount is the cheapest first place to check then bearing
  13. 16 psi on on these stock turbs is just pushing hot air and not worth it without furthur charge cooling
  14. problem with the RUIE was the pigmy bus was driven by a dwarf so it was a bottleneck situation, was much better when RUIE 2 came out and the driver was a sprite

  17. ok hate was a bit strong dislike then but lets face it hes a knob if he is lieing for the magazine coverage and to get noteriaty, which it seems he is. In fact no i retract the dislike comment Hate the ****er for the fact that it seems like he has worked on Z's and that he didnt tell the owners of z's to go away which he claims to do so, he has attacked cars which we love for the sake of gaining press coverage and visibility for his business
  18. I love the evo's always have to call it the xr3i of the jap world is a gross misdemeanor, a bit like saying the 300zx is like the capri of the jap car scene (just a comparisson not a reality ( Puts flame proof suite on)) Hate the person not the car
  19. Anyway when the next clinic gets going I will be up to see greg and ryan ( Maybe as im planning on a plenum removal and replacement of the coil connectors and injector connectors in may ( im a slow worker)) and oh how we will laugh about this little tete a tete   :nana2: We all get along to differing degrees
  20. err i dropped my allen key socket today when taking off the throttle cable cover , took me two hours to find it and 30 minutes to recover it
  21. greg is a decent chap and knows his stuff if you look at the tone of his threads he has a dry wit and humour ( and no im not saying greg is witty ;) ) But he is ready on the help side for most people as are a lot of folks on here. I for one appreciate his help on the occasions he has replied to my threads and also appreciate all the help i get on this site, remember that all we see are the written words which can be picked up wrong without the visual clues we would get from body language. Take a breath , relax , and step away from the keyboard, there is nothing to see here.
  22. I appreciate any help I can get im not desperate just needy...lol
  23. Because your an old fogey who still needs his kids to set the video for ya and thought traction control was a good safety feature and didnt realise it was more complicated than a video :nana2:
  24. hmmm fake carbon look without the carbon ;)  That will take a bit of polishing out :nana2:
