  4. yeah big problem i own shares in optimax Havnt had any mech problems on this tho, soon as i got it I had the cam belts and water pump and aux belts done then the basics i did myself like the plugs and oil and filter, fitted a gearbox oil cooler as its a TT auto, problems come from heat in the engine bay making most plastic plugs brittle so when you come to change anything they snap...grrrr.Look in the faq section for the buyers guide, would advise an extended test drive of a Z just to get to know it and see if any niggles appear.
  5. yeah i think its a long term plan...with my work it will lock every time i put the cruise control on or somat

  10. I want a engine start button but really dont want to have to put the key into the ignition to get it to work, Is there a way I could use a immobiliser ( the type with the fob type thingies ;) , i know what i mean) junk the ignition barrel and go for a engine start button to be pressed when the immobiliser fob is in?

  14. yeah but i will know if it is a real code or one of my fubars
  15. Just done a error test as the informeter said I have 2 error codes stored I got 2--1 and 1--2 Ignition sensor circuit Airflow meter The maf one was caused by me not connecting the Maf and starting it could the ignition one be caused by me fitting a grounding kit the other day as I have no running problems at all. Can I clear the codes in anyway so I can see if it was caused by me or actual faults? Cheers Guys
