  1. the input bearing is slightly noisy and the syncro is notchy into 2nd and 4th, normal Z box problems, I am just planning for a box rebuild in the next year with a lightened flywheel bud
  2. just been down my local garage where i know the mechs and one of em is building a m3 turbo looking at 30 psi boost, its gonna be a monster, the Z gets all the looks when i park it up tho and he asked me to show him what it had as I drove away, one nice drift round the corner and a bullet run to the junction had every mech out watching, gearbox needs a rebuild soon anyway...lol

  4. because they are narrowband then when we go wide open throttle they are basically useless and the ecu ignores them at this point anyway as all they will show is rich( well they should)

  7. o2 sensors will swing from rich to lean if they are working correctly, should swing quite rapid as well.

  16. oh and afr is the mass of air to the mass of fuel, 14.7 is classed as perfect( stichiometric( when there is a perfect balance of fuel to air for maximum combustion)) , in reality we want to be aiming for 11.5 to 12.5 for a degree of safety, anything below 10.5 will be sapping power as snoopy found.
  17. Just reading this now, got home to find my kitchen flooded so couldnt make the sennen run, just finished drying out. My result was ok 370bhp 368lbft @14.5psi with 10.9 afr value so still safe.

  22. whichever one he gets make sure it has good lock on it, remember doing my test on a rg125 and the lock on those things was less than nothing
