My parts for sale.
Your parts are top of the range items, no doubt about it! Trouble is most people running these cars would not be willing to spend as much as you have (or even reduced prices as you have them up for!). You will only have a very limited market for what you have, even at the reduced prices! Ultimately something is only ever worth what someone is willing to pay! Good luck with the sales & would love to spend the sort of money you have on my car!! :punk:

Conzult software - connecting issues
Would be worth speaking to Dan @ DTA that supplies Conzult - am sure there was some compatibility issues with some USB convertors

What are they called
helicoils are for rethreading work - ie repairing an existing stripped thread ;) Nutserts can be inserted where the hole is blind & speed clips used where you can get to both sides as above :chinese:

cambelt risk
Also no point in replacing things when they dont need doing  Its not like theres no history of when it was done! Hey, maybe just get it done every 10,000 miles just in case!!

cambelt risk
The timing belt is a 60k mile service item ;) If the belt has not been contaminated with oil then it should be fine based on when you last had it replaced. At 120k it is recommended to replace the tensioners, pullies, water pump etc

No a great pic but a recent pic of my "little" cat: Poor little bugger spends more time in the vets - just picked him up after he decided that after playing with a rubber band (as cats do) that he would eat the fooking thing! Daft bugger! They had to operate to remove it :bored:

Pics of progress!
Ok - a little update: After waiting for nearly 6 months for my mate to do the welding on my car & keep getting put off I have started to try to find someone else to do the repairs. I had a guy recommended from a friend who does repairs on VW beetles & campers. Gave him a call today & he seems really enthusiastic! Although he mainly does dubs he's a full restoration shop that just does panel restoration work on all manner of cars - said hes done a few jobs on Z32's already & appears to be just what I need! :w00t: He has tooling to make bespoke panels & assures me that any work he does will be a lasting repair & not just patched up! He is hopefully coming to see the car next week & will get it over to him soon after :hyper::hyper::hyper:

turbo removal
You are not allowed to remove anything for the inspection itself, however VOSA introduced PRS (Passed after Rectification at Station) a while back. This means that the tester can repair any minor items - so if the headlamp aim was too low for example the tester can now rectify this & will enter as a PRS. I would guess this may be what has happened in your instance if they have been trying to get to the headlamp adjusters.

Changing clutch - what else to do ?

Upper Link Adjustable Camber Arms
Must say Mine have been very good & used for years as a daily driver before it come off the road. The pics in the links of silverbullet's torsion rods also look nothing like my Powertrix ones either?!
