Urgent help needed with Z purchase please
the high idle & hunting would more than likely be cured by cleaning the throttle bodies & idle valve, tps connectors & resetting the ECU. do a search, theres loads of tech articles on this as for hearing the turbo's, yes, you do get more of an induction noise with an induction kit - is there much smoke coming out the exhausts when you boot it?? hth :)

Fuel Filters
LMAO!! great test!! without doing a proper flow test to see how much the system can deliver with each filter, I would take the findings of his "test" with a pinch of salt!!

Side repeaters
FFS - more *****x!!! :D :D  side repeaters MUST be fitted for the MOT from around 86> IIRC they must be visable from the side. IF the front indicators are wrap round jobbies and are visable from the side then this is acceptable you DONT need to see them from the rear, thats what the rear indicators are for!!!!! :D

What RPM do you hit peak boost at?
tried mine on the way home for ya (thats a fiver for fuel you owe me ;) :D ) start to hit +ve boost at around 2500 rpm & 16psi at around 4000rpm (i think!! the boost gauge & rev counters mooving so quick by then!!) manual car, JWT teapot, stock turbos, JWT induction & Mongoose zorst, lightweight flywheel still got the cats on (really should get them off! )

Radio ariel.
there is a convertor that you can get from most audio specialists for about £15 or you can buy a standard solder type connector for about 50p & cut the old end off & solder the cables to the connector - theres 2 cables (2 aerials!) solder the outer shielding to the outer part of the connector & the inner core to the centre pin. job done! :D

Massive boost leak??
this is a very simplistic way of understanding how valves work, and is how most people understand it. in actual fact both the inlet AND the exhaust valves can (& will!) be open at the same time - this is known as the overlap period, & is used to help purge the cylinder of spent gasses. it may be that when some are trying it the valves are on overlap & others are not. try rotating the engine a few degrees to see if it helps.

Air Con help needed
seriously tho - if its only been topped up, I would drain it down, evacuate for about 30mins then regas, could be that air/moisture is trapped in the system.

Air Con help needed
thats the best description of how A/C works that i'v EVER heard!!! :D :D :D

Turbo Dynamic Turbo's- Boost ?
mine too for a year now, even tho the guy at Billing from SE said my pistons would melt, the engine would explode & the end of the world as we know it would rapidly approach unless i fit forged pistons!!!

Massive boost leak??
ok, i was wondering how this was gonna work TBH if you put the adapter in the air intake & then pressurise, the air is gonna go in the intake manifold, through any open inlet valves (or ones that dont seat ;) ) into the cylinders, & straight out the exhaust valves on any cylinder that is on overlap. or does it rely on an airtight seal at the TB's????? so - how does it work?? lol!

tappet noise?

boost jets
i would start on 1.2/1.1 mm & work down! going straight for 0.8mm could be a bit dodgy

boost jets
Iv been running 1.0 mm jets for about a year now - gives around 16psi initially, then settles to around 14psi. might be a little high for some ;) but i like it :D see if you can get 1.1mm ones, 1.2mm gave me 12 psi HTH
