  1. ive done the injector ones & temp sensor- the kits arnt for our cars - theres no "connector" ;) you need to cut the loom back - cut the connectors off the new loom & solder in! :)
  2. ps is it a TT or NA??
  3. id do an oil & filter change & PCV's at the very least are you loosing coolant/overheating?? is there any sludge in the oil filler cap/radiator??
  4. some fave cars iv driven: Lancia Intergarale 16v - the 1st "quick" car i drove origional Audi Quatro 20v turbo De'Lorean - pants car, but was good at the time cos of BTTF!! :D fully race prepped Mk1 escort 2000 Mercedes SL600 biturbo mmmmmmmmmmm i like these ;) AMG CL55 - class coupe

  6. if the CAT is fooked, i know of a company that does aftermarket ones quite cheap. they even do a "universal" one that you can weld/clamp on once youve cut the old one out IIRC!! :D

  8. yes, cause youre pressurising the whole intake from the MAS connector back. the intake is only pressurised from the outlet side of the turbo onwards under normal running ;)

  12. as Dave says, the engine picks up quicker from low revs. with a front pulley too it really is impressive. knocked .3 - .4 off the 0-60 time with flywheel, intake & exhaust on my car :)
  13. yup. i can find no downside!! (apart from being parted with £350!! :D) not quite the performance some have suggested, but worthwhile nontheless. esp if your doing a clutch anyway :)

  15. bloody boring rubbish footie. lets all watch a load of overpaid blokes run up & down a field then roll around on the floor clutching their leg when someone else go's near them. bloody football crap. i hate it :tongue: or is it just me??? :o ps were crap at it anyway!! :D

    if you decide to start modding it: Manual box will handle most mods you can throw at it once you uprate the clutch Auto box will need a fast road rebuild for up to around 400bhp or so, after that convert to manual anyway :D

  22. i spoke to NGK technical & they advised not to use Iridiums in my car. stick to plats IMO
  23. no - shouldnt make any difference to idle
  24. i take it theres no fault code?? have you checked the resistance of the temp sensor & harness?? could also be air mass sensor. are the O2 sensors working?
  25. Sexist wheels????? what, they dont let women change them when they get a puncture or something?!!? LOL :D
