  1. Lol, I'm afraid my post edit was only due to my first attempt at creating the big grid smiley was like this  so after noticing I put the second G in and and then it looked like this...
  2. Haha, I love these charts... Seen one recently about rectal surgery... I won't post it here lol
  3. The part I really find amusing Joely, is that I think these guys haven't spotted that you gave 100% accurate location advice.. Also in a bloody hilarious fashion! High five for that Joely
  4. Thanks Andy... And Joely, what are you drinking? Please share... Although I'm saying that, yet I got to the part where it says "drill large hole in the tank.. Found my head twisting to one side for a minute too, you'd have heard the clunk of the penny dropping lol
  5. Hi folks, can anyone help me here.. Any ideas where the fuel pump ecu is located on a TT 2+2? I read that on the swb it's under a flat cloth tray in the centre but I'm struggling to understand exactly where that would be.. Lol
  6. My stat was stuck wide open Dutch. I never had overheats and it took about 10 minutes of driving to warm up.. Since Lee Dent put a new stat in, it warms up in about 5 minutes now
  7. I'm sure there's a plug to drain on the bottom drivers side of the rad and a plug to expel air from the rad in the driver side top corner.. Looks like a big plastic Phillips screw head
  8. You're welcome BedZee, thoroughly enjoyed the day mate. To be honest, I was chuffed you were confident enough to let me get my spanners out on your z. Had to laugh at the thought of what we looked like, a z with four legs sticking out from under it.. I had a great day anyway and just glad you've got the car ready to go again. Have to get out for a drive out soon. Maybe a Sunday run out to old warden or something? I'll give you a bell after Wednesday evening and see how you got on..
  9. OK, given the interest at the moment I'm going to get a provisional quote for 25. I will find out the amount if cabins available and thehotels available nearby or on route. I will hopefully have some more information by tomorrow evening. Great to see so many up for the event at this early stage, thanks for the support guys
  10. Not quite sure how to take that answer Pete.. At present this is just in "idea" stages.. I'm making enquiries this week as to pinpoint locations of actual sites but have been made aware of camping facilities with cabins available. The "brevity" of my answer is due to this being in early stages of planning.. You asked for a location, the area is snowdonia national park. Actual camp location will depend on the numbers of attendees.
  11. Oap passes at the ready! Thanks for the suggestion phoenix, it's something I have thought about and am looking in to. Just think it's one night and it'd be nice to all be in the same area so we can have a Barby at camp.. I'm looking to give as much comfort choice as possible for everyone.
  12. I'm going to find out how many cabins are available and obviously the cost involved. If post up info as soon as I get the correct information.
  13. I can't swear by It but it's a possibility if the transport museum falls through..
  14. I'm thinking the dates could be either June or August? With the agm in between but suggestions for suitable months are welcome as I'd rather set the dates around the people who wish to attend.. Do what do you think is the best time to do it?
  15. I'll be taking a hotel with me.. After the demise of my 8 man mini hotel at this year's jae, I went out and bought this  So your request for a hotel room can be fulfilled Chris, however the jacuzzi, sauna and masseuse might not be possible.. I'll be getting on to the campsite on Friday
  16. I'm going to give it another week before contacting the camp site so I have a reasonable idea of numbers and will get the prices sorted.
  17. I believe the clue would be in the thread title and also the first line of the post a hahaha.. Yes nick, I'm looking to arrange it for next year.
  18. OK can you please add yourselves to this list and state if you would be willing to camp or want me to enquire about the cabins. Thanks.. 1.Nemesiszx camping 2.mondo 3. Evaanss 4. Funkysi 5.Tmogsy 6. Bedzee man 7. Iangreenfield I'll update the list as and when with your accommodation requirements.. But feel free to add yourselves as you decide. Thanks guys
  19. OK, this isn't the place to post this but I'd like to bring this to everyone's attention if I can. I have posted a thread in the events section of the forum, I need to get a feel for the amount of people who will be interested in attending and would like to get as many as possible involved. So if you're interested in a great road trip event for the club next year, then please do look at the thread and give your interest and input. Fantastic roads, a nights camping and great fun to be had, not to mention some of the best photo opportunities in the UK.. So do please have a read and add your comments so I can gauge the interest correctly and get a plan in motion. There is a small quantity of cabins available for those who don't do tents but availability will be limited. Anyways, have a gander and give us your feedback if you would be so kind..
  20. So it's looking like a go from the looks of the interest already.. Very good! Just out of interest, is there any particular month that people are more likely to be available? I'm going to contact the campsite and find out a rough estimate and see what sort of deal I can get with them for camping and a few of the cabins for the more arthritic of the group lol
  21. Get a Dremel on the bumper bolts Ali.. It'll be off in seconds.. Just put a new set of holes through the bumper and fibreglass them in place. Or use captive bolts that bite in to the bumper and then . Glass them in. I had the same problem with the bumper lip on the blue one but it's off now and ready for paint and fitting to mine
  22. Well that really would help funky lol.. We could hook you up on a web cam like
  23. Hi folks.. I've been looking in to a weekend event for next year. It's a driving event with an overnight camp and would like to get an idea of numbers interested. My idea is for everyone to meet up at a location along the M6 and convoy from there to snowdonia national park which I know has some excellent driving roads and views/photo opportunities etc. There is a camping site at the park for tent stays and also available cabins for those who don't do the roughing it. After an overnight stay at snowdonia, driving through the valley and through the breacons and the black mountain pass where we gather again for some food etc and then make our separate ways home. Can you give me your opinion/input please. I think it'll be a great driving event. I'm still trying to barter with Drayton Manor to see if they can get the costs down to club funds scope, but they seem adamant on keeping it in the thousands rather than hundreds!
  24. It's OK, the Google Gods have helped out.. I tried Guinness but it just made the paintwork taste good.. Lol. I'm assuming that you mean isopropyl alcohol Joely?
