  1. Howard....that's great....they are to secure the top of the windscreen trim Many thanks Gary
  2. Anyone got any of these lying around?....I need 2 Part No. 73856-30P10 I am waiting for Nissan to get back to me with availability and price...but thought I would try here :thumbup1: Thanks Gary
  3. GSC posted a topic in For Sale - Parts
I am looking for some 'cheap' front seats...electric drivers...manual passenger.... exterior condition unimportant as I will be getting them recovered.
  4. Does anyone have an centre brake light bulbs?.....I can't find the correct wattage in a size that fits through the aperture
  5. ....so assuming Premium = old Subscribed and Standard = old Registered...it would be good to track those numbers alongside the number of renewals and conversions...IMHO
  6. Gaz...would it be possible to show a monthly running total of the number of Subscribed Users too?
  7. ......Under the bonnet it has been detailed and is completely stock…. except for the addition of a Brake Master Cylinder brace.... .
  8. .......The interior is black leather and has been removed, sound proofing installed and re-fitted using anti-rattle tape.....it is completely standard retaining the OEM Radio/Cassette player and separate CD player (although there is an Alpine amp hidden in the boot to improve sound quality). Improvements on the horizon include the re-upholstering of the front seats in OEM spec black leather…just waiting for a slot in the very congested calendar of 300ZX Owners Club member and official trader….Simon at ‘Hide n Seat’ in county Durham.
  9. What time do you have to be there?
  10. .........The car looks standard and is ‘almost’ as it would have left the Nissan Showroom in 1991….only Z32 aficionados would notice the OEM+ improvements. Externally the car has 19” Calibre Vintage alloys replacing the OEM 16” wheels and gloss black roof bars in place of the body colour. The car has had an OEM 1989 rear spoiler re-instated and a full body respray in Nissan EH7 tri coat pearl – Sahara Gold by Kraftwork Vehicle Refinishers in Chelmsford
  11. I don't have any beautifully composed pictures...but here goes..... 1991 UK 300ZX Twin Turbo Manual in Sahara Gold (EH7).....rare (Marmite) colour only available in the UK for one year (1991)......Only 44 ever sold in the UK in this colour…and only 24 of those in this colour/gearbox combination.
  12. Further to other responses...I have always thought the Z32 brakes unconvincing and certainly not like modern brakes...even though, as others have said, many modern brakes are over servo'd . My Z32's calipers have been renovated with new seals and new vented discs installed with new pads...oh.. and a BMC bracket under the bonnet....but it still didn't 'feel' as effective as modern car brakes....and required excessive effort when driving enthusiastically (Lakes Weekend) ...because of this I was considering the merits of a BBK (as many others on here have opted for)....however....in an attempt to ensure I had tried everything I could with the standard setup before remortgaging to buy a 4 corner BBK...I decided to replace the brake hoses and fluid. So after Goodridge S/S braided hoses all round and new fluid....it has transformed my car....so much so that I don't even think about the brakes when driving...so their performance cannot be lacking as before....I don't doubt the BBKs look and perform better...but.... for not very much I have brought the feel and performance of the 27 year old braking system into the present....at least from my perspective
  13. I Totally Agree! I was questioning the 'Trial' duration.....if it doesn't work then it doesn't work...but give it a fair go! The idea was to try to alleviate the overhead of 'Spam' management by the Committee....and to try to increase the Club's standing out in the Event Organisers world. I thought the fee (£1, 50p, 25p ) would be levied as a condition of Registering...not optional? Anyway...it was all IMHO....I shall say no more on the matter
  14. Blimey....152 Premium Users...5 people vocalise issues with the 'Trial' nominal fee for Registered Users.....and it is scrapped!
  15. Ali...I'm not buying the idea of it being too much of a ball ache to enter CC or PP details....the majority of people have a PP account...so it would be quick redirect....and if the 300ZX Owners Club website explained the reason for the nominal fee.... and extolled the benefits the vast Z knowledge the nominal fee would give them access to...I believe most people with a genuine interest in the marque would understand and accept it......they will still also go to FB
  16. Should it not have a graphite grey moustache....or didn't US spec cars have that?
  17. Where did you get these Si? (and how much)...I have been trying for some time to track them down...every site in the US that says they have them.... can't fulfil the order once you try to buy!
  18. I have a contact who is on personal terms with most of the UK Nissan Dealerships. I have been talking to him about potential sponsorship for 2019 Z celebration events. While my friend doesn't have 'an in' with Nissan UK...he thinks there could be some support from the larger Nissan dealerships...but would like some more information regarding the type of events proposed. I advised that we were at the early stages of planning and would get back to him....so let's get continue to get more ideas in and perhaps we should be liaising with the committees of the other Z clubs to present a 'gala' Z/ZX marque celebration in the summer of 2019? Rockingham sounds like an ideal venue...and they have nothing booked in July 2019 according to their website!
  19. The AGM was again a great day…. in blistering sunshine… with a fantastic selection of cars on show. Many thanks to the committee for their efforts in staging this event (and others)...As someone who organises group activities I appreciate the amount of coordination and effort that these sort of events demand. There are few 300ZX events throughout the year where prizes are awarded (well done Steve et al for this years) to attending members and their cars based on votes cast throughout the day….I think the variety of awards is great and offers members with all genres and styles of 300ZX to participate and have their ‘pride and joy’ appreciated by the attending knowledgeable 300ZX community. After going to all the effort to produce the prizes and organise the voting perhaps we could ‘promote’ this side of the day a little more… to the rest of the club membership who were not able to attend the event itself? On Sunday we had awards presented for: (Apologies if I have forgotten any!) • Best SWB • Best LWB • Best OEM/OEM+ • Best Interior • Best Engine Bay • Best Audio Installation • Best Modified • Best Motorsport • Most Desirable Car • Best in Show I would like to make a suggestion. After the event…an awards post within the event’s thread…listing the categories and the winners. An 'official photographer’ could take a picture of the member receiving their prize from the committee….along with a picture of the winning car/interior/engine bay. I think this would be of interest to the entire club membership. It would provide information on the awards….the winning members (enabling us all to actually put a face and ‘real’ name to a forum name)….and to celebrate the many varied representations of the 300ZX marque …spot lighting the cars that attracted the most votes in a specific category….and perhaps encouraging some who may not think that their car was up to the same standard as others in the club (or too modified) …to attend and take part? This is all in my humble opinion….of course!
