  2. will check on the weekend. so when the engine revs over 3000rpm, the light goes out. i take it that will be charging the battery then yea? just wont charge it while driving slow?

  6. my battery light is coming on, dim. when i rev the car over 3000rmp or so, the light goes off. ive charged the battery, and it still comes on. is this the alternator? if i remove the battery when the cars started and it still comes on will that confirm the alternator? or mite i be lucjy to just tighten the fan/alternator belt?

  8. are the left and right seats the same? same on the rails etc? i think i have 2 left seats, or 2 right seats in mine, as they rub close to the centre console. sure they didnt on my old Z

  12. be cool to use it instead of a key, if you have the imobiliser/fob, surely thats the same as having a key? ideal be to have the fob/imobiliser, then after youv pushed your fob, then you can push the switch to start it. that would look better

  15. check this thread, http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=125056 i think its the case of swapping the yolks on the props, rarther than the front/rear halfs of the props
  16. you keep the diff, and the rear half of the prop, you need the front half of the manual prop, then you mate them in the middle. however, i think you may need to swap the yolks on the props, to sort of mix and match them together

  18. by loom, they mean the connectons on the o2 sensors dirty/not seated correclty. the readings are suppost to fluctuate, but you are suppost to keep the car on 2000rpm, then the left & right sensor reading are suppost to shoot left & right rarther dramatically, rarther than just slowly fluctuate a little bit. il find a thread on here which shows you now....
  19. no worries, i think the standard spoiler is a good look. apart from the fact its made of foam :rolleyes: but you can get proper harder material replacement. no spoiler on a Z looks a bit odd in my opinion. needs the spoiler as the finishing touhch to the end of the car. something nice and sleak, not a big OTT veilside jobby :wack:
  20. if the o2 sensors are gone, it will over fuel. both technically, within the ECU, and phsically, (black smoke, petrol smell, bad mpg) conZult shows if the o2 sensors are working correcly, (they need to fluctuate on the reading) not sure about the det sonsor bit
  21. you mean replacing the standard rubber ones, rarther than the standard metal ones (which the re-circs go to) as prev posted, they do tend to get brittle and break over the years, people replce with nice silicon ones :)
  22. the series 1 foam spoiler would cover the perspex strip, sou you wouldnt know it was there really. n regards to the size, i dont have my car until friday, so il measure then. unless someone beats me to it

  24. thanks for that, but the signals it will be receiving froim the ECU & fuse box will be a on and off, think il just try it out and watch the boost gauge
