  1. you cant put a NA pump onto a TT engine, as people say the pulley doesnt line up. ive got the TT engine, TT pump, just blocked the take-off for the Hicas with a banjo bolt i beleive (as is high pressure?) it would be good to use a power steering resivour from a NA, as the TT resivoiur has a take-off for the Hicas..... this is the TT resivour, as you can see i have blocked off the pipe on the right that used to go to the Hicas
  2. if you look at the seat connectors, i think there are just 2 prongs on there, 1 for negative, then 1 for posotive. shouldnt matter which one is what, as i dont think they are polarity sensative. in regards to the seatbelt tensioner, just cut the wires off and dont bother!
  3. e-mailed :) you just connect the wastegate pipes to the boost controller, instead of the intercooler pipes at the front. then where the wastegate pipes were originally connected (intercooler pipes at the front) you just join them together, then put a T piece in and also run to the boost controller
  4. my power steering had a leak, the leak has been sorted now, but i think its too late, as the pump is still whining when thers fluid back in there. can i ask why may it damage the alternator? my alternator isnt charging correctlty, and its only since the power steering has gone? i thaught might have been the belt, but the alternator & power steering is on different pulley?
  5. car is running 7PSi at the moment, as i have the boost solenoids dis-conected. if i out boost jets in, it will still be on 7PSI i asume? but when you put an electronic boost conrtoller in, you can run over 7PSI. how is this? becasue when you have an EBC, the boost solenoids are still disconected?
  6. there are 2 grommets there, remove them, any water leaked into the boot will drip onto the road :)

  8. wiring is virtually no wiring, they go into stupid long winded things like making a switch when u push the clutch in, so the car will only start when clutch is pressed??!! you just need to join 2 wires together in the drivers side wheel arch. mechanically its easy, just bit potchy getting the clutch pedal in.

  12. its very very easy to fit! 4 screws! never seen the standard airbox, but whatever it is its easy to access, probably a 1/10 job to do :) as for the price, just get a second hand one from ebay or driftworks, always some lurking around
  13. well when the cars running, the battery shows 14.3v so asumed alternator was fine. ive swapped the battery to a new one today, but the light is still on. (the battery is slightly smaller, as its from my escort) but still its new. does this confirm its the alt? is my battery just going to die after a week or so?
  14. na mate, just has a Tommy Kaira sticker on the side. the M30 is super rare (not thats its anything special, just has a stripe up the side & recaros)

  16. everyone says its a pig to remove, when you remove the battery you can see it plain as day, not sure about the other side tho, think if u remove the brake master cylinder can get at it

  21. when i charge the battery, i think its at 11-12volts. when the car is started, iv put a multimeter on there, it reads 14.3volts. as its 14.3volts when running, this means the alternator is working/charging? but the battery is just shit/cant hold charge isit? battery light is on still tho
  22. turning the boost up is probably one of the things where u can really notice the power. an increase of 5 PSi will be very noticible! check it out!
  23. stop being so posh and stick a screw in the pipe :)
  24. i dont have the bumper brakcets. i just have mine conected by the 4 bolts that go by the AFM/nose panel. then 1 screw each corner of the bumper, that goes through the bumper into the wing. check that, or use some Zipties on there (seriously, you wont see them as ilt be on the inside)
