Took it for a good run out today, so nice to drive. Just silky smooth and absorbs the road so comfortably. Always fancied a Jag, especially the new breed. Should make the traffic jam on the way home from work a pleasure to be in!

I went to this last year and it was a great event. Good family day out with plenty of things going on including a static classic car show and for those who want to participate, you can join in the parade through the town where the streets are lined with spectators. I did this last year and the cars got so much attention. It would be great if we could get a good attendance of Z's as I went last year not knowing what to expect. So, after nearly 7 years of owning my Vectra, the time has come to upgrade. I will actually miss it, been a great car over the years and has never let me down. Took the plunge and bought a Jaguar XF 3.0V6d and I'm picking it up tomorrow. What a car, I can't wait!

Where is the spring located? I've already checked the hinges as that happened when I first got the car.

Already checked that, there must be a way of tightening it up a bit?

Went to the petrol station yesterday and I had some trouble opening the flap.... Is there a way of tightening the wire as it feels as though it's just stretched over time?

I started to get into Whisky last year, tried quite a few, mainly bourbon and single malts. I'm not a fan of Jack Daniel's, I find it too sweet but these 2 are pretty good....

Passed the MOT again this morning. Had a nightmare morning though! Had a flat battery when I went out to it, so had to nip to Halfords to get some jump leads... Then half way to the test station, there was snow everywhere... Not a fun drive. Jet washed it when I got back as it was practically white:(
