Cheers Richard... I do like those 350z wheels. I suppose I'll be ok using the tyres the wheels have come with for now. Like I said they are mainly for during the winter months when all it does is move up and down the drive!

No, I've always wanted a set as spare predominantly for during the winter to prevent flat spots on my other tyres. These came up for a good price and have decent tyres on too (full set of pretty much new Toyo Proxes) . They could do with a refurb at some point and I may use them this year for a change. Not sure the tyres are the right size though....? Fronts 205 45 16 Rears 225 45 16 The guy I bought them off had them on an MR2!

Drove down to Doncaster last night to pick up some wheels.... Will need a refurb at some point and also the rear tyres have been put on the opposite wheels so will swap them round soon

Just renewed my membership for another year. Also had a very nice drive out with the targas off yesterday (first time this year with them off!) Alex loved it in the passenger seat!

If you are with the AA they should be able to get you in. They would probably use some expanding air cushions to pull back the window enough to slide something inside and open it. Another option (not ideal), but you could drill a small hole under the boot latch on the drivers side and push that to release the boot. Not ideal but desperate times lead to desperate measures and all that!

It's annoying when you state where the vehicle is kept over night in the online question set. So, they knew that bit before they quoted me and sent me the below saying what's included. Good job I phoned up and checked the terms before accepting online!

Hmm.... Not that impressed with them actually. Rang them up to discuss the quote and unfortunately, they won't offer agreed valuation unless the car is kept in a garage! I've not had that issue with Lancaster or Footman James. I'll see what each of them can offer tomorrow.

Has anyone used "Performance Direct" for their insurance on their Z? I'm currently with Lancaster who have sent my renewal through at £370 (paid £302 last year). Performance direct just quoted me £217 with agreed valuation and salvage retention! Just wanted to see if anyone has used them before and if they are any good?

Definitely will do. We're hoping to move to a bigger house with a decent garage being top of my list of requirements within the next couple of years. At that point, I'll be looking to spend quite a bit on the Z then including a full respray. After that, it's going to be work on suspension and powdercoating:)

Yes, 3 years ago. It's sat outside though as I don't have the luxury of a garage yet. It's not that bad at the moment, just starting to lightly bubble so I want to catch it before it gets bad. It'll be hopefully early next year before I get it done though.

I got mine agreed at £10k with 5k miles (which I haven't done any where near this year!) for just under £300 with Lancaster:) 2nd year I've gone with them!
