  1. I had a great time yesterday. Thanks again for organising this Craig. Looking forward to next years!
  2. Its been polished enough times... Literally gave them a quick wipe!
  3. Just given mine a quick rinse ready for tomorrow!
  4. We'll be there before 10am:)
  5. Me and Tom are heading up on Saturday, what time do we need to be there Craig?
  6. The weather is looking good for the weekend so far!
  7. Doesn't it just! I occasionally swap where I park my Z and Lexus at home. When I do it always surprises me how big the Lexus is.... I can hardly fit past when walking down the side of the house as its that wide!
  8. Thought I'd give my car some air so I brought it to work. Little test run ahead of Saturdays drive in the Lakes. Managed to get the corner plot on the car park too!
  9. Haha, I did it yesterday and never took one!
  10. I got round to fitting my Series 2 PTU as I found that my old one had started to play up. I also relocated it under my nose panel.
  11. I'll keep an eye on the weather then! Hopefully this rain will end!
  12. Which day is the drive planned for, is it the Saturday?
  13. Very true, if I get some time soon. I'll put something together and try and remember roughly everything I've done. Like I said, I wished I had done it but always ended up adding things to this thread instead!
  14. No, I always meant to set up one as my car has come along way. Just never actually set it up!
  15. Need to start the mid section next. All the rear looks great now!
  16. New tank fitted: Washed and waxed: Cheeky test drive:) Should be all good to make the lakeland drive!
  17. Managed to get a half day off work today finish off my tank. I managed to swap it over and whilst it was off, treated the underneath of the car for surface rust and then undersealed it. Old one off Before: After
  18. Underside of the tank painted today, no pics though. Now time for a cold beer and a steak on the BBQ!
  19. I definitely will. I've got some thicker brush on hammerite for up there. I'll also coat the underside of the tank in the same once I've fitted it. It stays quite tacky so didn't want to use that before fitting as I'd end up covered in the stuff!
  20. So, I picked up a new petrol tank up from Gray on Saturday. Thanks again for that Graham! Spent tonight, cleaning it up, treating the top for surface rust and a couple of coats of Hycote underseal. Tomorrow night, I'll do the same to the underside!
  21. Hopefully temporarily patched up my fuel tank after my fuel leak the other day. I'll test it with fuel in a couple of days giving it a chance to cure. I'll have a new tank soon thanks to Gray donating one. Big thanks again. Fingers crossed, I'll make it along to the lakes drive next month!
