  1. After the recent bad weather, I checked on my Z today... The cover has done well, no issues of it lifting off the car and its still completely dry. The company have now added this image to their website now as well:)
  2. Pics are up... Looks a good one to me
  3. It's funny... She seems to like the red one the most ;)
  4. I bought Alex this today... Is it me or are these cars modelled on a Z?
  5. Doesn't look bad either
  6. What does it look like Jeff? I've just discovered a loose earth for the sub amp in the boot... Could that have caused it?
  7. Yes, just heading outside to have another look now
  8. Yes, the ignition lights up but as soon as I try and turn it over it shuts straight down
  9. My car has developed a bit of an annoying issue lately... It starts no problem most of the time but occasionally, I'll put the fob in the immobiliser, then go to start the car. At which point it's completely dead. The key also gets stuck in the ignition barrel. I can the leave it for a while and it'll fire up no problem, but I've lost all my radio stations and the clock has reset. Any ideas, I'm thinking an earthing issue somewhere but everything appears OK.
  10. This sounds like a good car, no pictures yet though! 1 owner from new with only 29k miles!! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F273417083327
  11. It comes with 2 fastening straps and a locking kit... Hopefully should be good. I tried a cheap one last year and it was rubbish
  12. Just received this car cover today.... Hoping it will stop the weather getting to my car this winter. It fits well and it's 4 layer construction feels like good quality. I'll update this post with my findings over the next few weeks but if anyone is interested in getting one they have 10% off at the moment: https://www.stormcarcovers.co.uk/products/stormforce-car-covers-for-nissan?variant=665923789
  13. Great day today, managed to get some pics....
  14. I'll be setting off at 7am, should be at Lymm for about half past
  15. I'm getting the darker shag pile mats also which I think they will match nicer
  16. Had my seat belts relocated yesterday to accommodate the series 2 interior I got from Ian Greenfield. Also fitted the chrome handles I got from ebay and the arm rests courtesy of Tom. Looks so much nicer, cleaner and more modern without the tweed. I also changed the red foot well lighting I had to some warm white earlier in the week... Thanks Phutumsch for supplying the bulbs. I must be growing up! I also got my passenger side front caliper refurbed with new seals and pistons. I did my drivers side one a few weeks back but hadn't had the time to do the other one so got it done whilst in the garage. We then fully flushed out all the previous brake fluid and replaced that too. Felt a lot better on the way home!
  17. I'm in the process of changing my tweed interior over to the blue velour... My grey mats are looking a bit out of place as a result. Does anyone have any of the matching blue car mats going spare or would anyone be interested in swapping with mine? Cheers
  18. I'm after a a new set of front calipers in very good condition... Has anyone got any lying around??
  19. Had a nice day with Ian Greenfield today. We've swapped his white Z's interior to a nice Alcantara one from Keith's blue Z. Ian's old interior is now going to go into mine! Can't wait to relocate the seat belts and get rid of the tweed in mine now! Ian has also helped me out with a new set of front brake pads and some rear leather seats. Thanks again Ian! As you can see, this has cleaned up very nice!! :)
  20. Just an update on this.... I switched my PCVs this week and it has definitely cleared up the smoking! Glad it's not ended up being a turbo!!
  21. Had a great weekend of Wedding this week.... I spent the day with Phutumsch yesterday while he did some light repair work on my centre panel. Was really good to catch up with him as I've not seen him in ages! Thanks for all the work and hospitality whilst I was there Andy! Then, today my father in law has organised a family fun day and wanted a few cars to attend. It's been a brilliant day with all the family and friends in the sun. Ian Greenfield and Gary Moore came down in their Z's too. Was great to catch up with them both!
  22. Definitely count us in for that one, think Jess is off so we'll all come along!
