Changed my sidelight bulbs from 6000k colour to some Philips 4000k led bulbs to bring them in line to my new HID kit. I've also put in an order for a new steering wheel from Mondo!! Very excited:)

I took the Z to work yesterday and noticed that one of my headlight bulbs had gone. Ordered a new set yesterday and it arrived today! I decided to change from 5000k to a 4300k set... I took the pic below for comparison. Drivers side is the old 5000k set and new 4300k set on the passenger. I think it looks nice

Sounds as though you had the same problem as me! I found mine to be a dodgy spark plug too, once swapped it's ran great since. Mine was sat all winter too with the occasional start up to move it up the drive

Great day today, sun was shining, some very interesting cars and great food and drink. Alex loved the drive riding shotgun with daddy while mummy was sat in the back! Saw 2 fellow Z32 owners however neither cars were currently on the road or a member of the club so I pushed them this way... Hopefully 2 more future members to come!! Overall, a great day!

So before "Total Retro" car show tomorrow, the deep clean happened today. Clayed, Polish and Sealed..... Wheels included! Then a few paint touch ups, trims restored, exhausts polished and then a deep clean of the interior. All leather conditioned and then a quick spruce up of the engine bay too. I then finally stuck the "Nissan Fairlady Z Twin Turbo" stickers on that I got from Phutumsch about 3 years ago!!!! Finally, the car seat was fitted for Alex's maiden drive in a Z.... I reckon she looks excited:)

Changed the spark plugs tonight after diagnosing that my misfire was down to a dodgy one. Sounded so nice when I fired it back up, purring as it should. Then gave her a quick wash and dry and did a couple of small stone chip touch ups. I'm still happy with the black strip on the rear as there appears to be no bubbles or creases! I'm going to use it for work tomorrow to clear out the exhausts and check it's running ok for Sunday. Saturday is going to be a polishing day!! :)

I'm hoping for no creases, will have to have a look tomorrow as I only had a bit of time after work tonight and it had started to go a bit dark with the rain! Fingers crossed!

Going to do a few more bits in the next couple of days as I'm hopefully going to a classic event up in the Lake District on Sunday. Got the stickers to go on yet too!

Finally got round to fitting the black strip above my rear lights tonight. Thanks again to Andrew G who sent this over to me a few months ago... It dramatically changed my rear end!

I've not been keeping up Graham! So what's going on your Black Z?? - - - Updated - - - Me too, it's been worrying me the last few weeks!

My Z had developed a nasty misfire a few weeks ago however, I've just not had the time to take a look at what it was. Tonight, I checked all the connectors, Coilpack etc and thankfully, it turned out to just be a dodgy spark plug. New set ordered so it should be back to running sweet in the next couple of days!!

Does anyone have any spare clips for the Radio Surround Screw Cover by any chance? Thanks David
