  1. Shame that Prince (the company which manufactured Skylines) was nothing to do with Datsun at the time :nelson:
  2.
  3. OK you tell me the engine size and I'll tell you the number. A clue: the 2.4 litre was called the 240 You tell me whether they think its a sports or a GT and I'll tell you it's either Z or ZX This is why two completely different cars with competely different engines were both called 300ZX.

OK according to my systray it's now 2108 so wtf is the car? :duffer:
  5. http://www.waynekerrmusic.com/ aptly named hahahaha
  6. It says So it IS allowed if the item cannot be supplied at a fair price and timeframe. My personal interpretation is if a group buy is "for profit" then the organiser is trading and should cough up - either as a trader or in the discount section. If a group buy is "not for profit" and beats a trader price, then there's no problem. Someone needs to check the buy is "fair" - and that should mean fair for members, fair for traders - and that someone is the TLO. So it's allowed as long as it is fair all round. Fair enuff? And BTW, there is no law that says you MUST buy from Traders or from Group Buys - if it's a good deal, buy. If it's not a good deal, don't.
  7. 5 sovs? Bleedin' 'ell guvnor, 5 squiddleys ain't arf a lot for yer average strugglin' luvverley cockney street barrer-boy. 'Ow abaht a tanner a punter, and not a word to the peelers knowarramean. Cor strike a lite - getcha luvverly satellites 'ere.... (exits left tired and emotional :duffer: :duffer: :duffer: )
  8. OK mate no worries - tenner to the usual place will do fine :D :D
  9. ya5een mate, you're still not reading the rules. GBs are NOT restricted to 5 - that's combined i.e. loads of different parts to loads of different people. A GB for 11 sets of PCVs? Totally within the rules AFAIK - at least if Mac says so. I think where we would have a problem is if one person kept doing "group buys" - as Mac says, trading through the back door - at a profit without coughing up the traders subscription. If they were allowed to get away with that, the traders would (rightly) get the hump. And stop giving their support. And the forum wanted a trader officer to encourage traders to cough up which is the role that Mac took on which has saved every subscribed member money in subs. Anyway, isn't this another storm in a teacup? I trust Mac to interpret the rules fairly - after all he was a member before he was a trader liaison bod. And if i don't like the results, I can vote him out of the committee and into the lake next Billing!
  10. I just read the rules on the link posted by Mac and there is nothing to say that your group buy would not have gone ahead?
  11. Ho Lee Fook Chinese restaurant in the Kings Road and, as I saw t'other week, one called Joy Fook near Mr F.'s gaff!
  12. Driving a LHD car in UK is no problem (apart from for the driver!). http://www.dvla.gov.uk/faq/faq_imports_exports.htm gives you the government regs. Good luck
  13. That's one for you, nineteen for me...
  14. you can also try Coz at ConceptZ - he knows how to post things! http://www.czp.us
  15. Thanks Eddie - is yours UK or J-spec import?
  16. OK gents, it really isn't fair to post when someone is unable to answer back. Whether you think the cooling-off period for Matty is good/ungood doesn't really matter here: he can't defend himself on this thread. And, Mr Mods, where is the report to Mods button? Or has that gone when you changed the forum colour from orange to blue!
  17. Hi Vijay - yes that's what I thought. But someone else swears blind these cat temp sensors are fitted on all Z32s. First I'd heard of it, hence the question here :D All evidence one way or the other gratefully received. Thanks, Vijay.
  18. Great idea - one with low income tax and without a 70mph speed limit. But where could we find such a hell-hole?
  19. AFAIK there are O2 sensors in the elbow joints just after the turbos and there are cat temp sensors down where the cats are. The O2 sensors are connected to the ECU (and can be read by a ConZult). Q1) Are the cat temp sensors connected to anything other then that strange little red warning light (with the 3 wavy lines) on the dash which J-spec cars have? Q2) Are these cat temp sensors fitted to UK spec cars? Q3) What's their part number? I have searched the manual and online parts but can't find them and am none the wiser. Please help oh gurus
  20. hahaha :)
