    Ive heard luk or rps clutch kits are good on nissans kit contains thrust bearing pressure plate and cover .Fork should be fine if using standard cover they can bend on uprated stronger finger covers and ive heard the nismo pivot ball is a good upgrade im told this is a weak point.As the flywheel goes if it isint scored or blue from heat leave alone .If it is get a skim and poss lightend and balanced from a local machine shop .Id change the rear crank shaft oil seal as well .Ive got a nismo clutch kit on mine from japan, cover, plate and flywheel and is a bit heavy but not juddery like a paddle clutch. :duffer:

If any body is intrested in a bride subframe theres on on ebay oo.1p 1 day 2 hrs to go it has a tatty recaro seat fitted .I brought one of these frames direct from japan took 4 weeks and cost £120 .It will fit a recaro or bride recliner and the fit is spot on .2x2 and swb are the same fitment .Recaro frames are not listed in the uk only for 350z and have been discontiued in japan the only other option is koinig and i dont think they fit that well and are expensive.

    I dont like the sound of a crease in flexi brake hose might be worth changing these maybe for braided ones.As i had a peugeot 205 gti with the same problem and it was traced to a internaly colapsed flexi brake hose the hole in the centre was so small that the fluild couldnt get to the piston . :cool:

Sorry to hear that mate , i worked in the windscreen trade when i left school and scrached a new rolls royce with the cutting out tool when training and cut loads of hard headlinings in newish motors when cutting out screens with chesse wire.You have to watch these guys .They should put a cover on the bonnet when fitting a screen.

  8. Isnt sikaflex used to bond winscreens in try autoglass what about no nails BaQ.
  9. Some jap tuners disagree with induction kits eg Mines and leave the standad air box inplace eg on skylines and ARC do the same to the nsx just with a after market filter panel fitted. ARC do there own air box for some cars eg nsx .Dont know about the Z32 ive never seen any tests.As with the bling intercooler hard pipe kit i dont think they do anything other than look shiney .The standard nissan intercooler pipe is superb quality pipe, enginered to take a lot more pressure than standard ive seen them take 30+ psi no problem i have seen split samco pipe before.

Cheers mate did you break any white clips mine seem fairly loose on the roof section but down the screen seem tight im scared im going to bend them i might get my mate who works for autoglass to help .Il get my mate to paint in the body shop it will be cheaper than me buying the paint and primer thanks taff.
  11. Has anyone removed the roof trims of a slicktop there all one peice ,along the roof and down the screen i was going to remove mine and take them to a body shop bloke i know to get them re painted .there loads of money to buy from nissans thanks taff. :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:

  13. Are greddy side skirts avalible for the swb zed as ive only seen them listed for the 2x2 these are the only skirts i like thanks taff. :duffer: :duffer:

Uk cars have them built into the rear bumper 2 of them dont look that nice .Mine has been converted by importers into the drivers side reverse lights with a red bulb and round illuminated rocker switch near hand brake .1 blulb lights up both of the lights still look orange/pink had mot last week and they didnt even test them or the emissions. :duffer: :duffer: :duffer:
  15. Just get some motorfactor blueprint [ADL]discs mate cheap £50 each and the same quility as nissan .I wouldnt bother with any fancey grooved/ drilled /names written on discs there a waste of money.

Genrally 300s dont have big end problems unlike the s13 .But if changed sooner rather than later u can save the crank from getting scored .Sometimes a light score on the crank can be pollished out insitu and new sheels fitted .On a s13 ca18det engine this can be done with engine in by lowering front cross member to get the sump clear of crossmember not sure on vg30dett.When the get realy bad the sheel can spin inside the big end journal and its game over.If the crank has never been ground the shells should have std stamped on them ,if its had a grind you will need oversize shells.

  19. My mate works for autoglass and he thinks jap cars normaly have bronze tint with a bronze/blue top tint.And uk cars have blue with a blue /blue or blue /green top tint hes not 100 % thought.my swb import has bronze glass with a bronze /blue top tint.

  22. Just found out they did make a slicktop for the us market manual only not sure if tt or na but in 1993 only 69 cars where made in japan for the us market lhd most where turned into race cars and the rest hold a high premium on the second hand market.Slicktops are mega rare in the us.
  23. Just been searching the web and ive found that in the states you couldnt get a swb slicktop only a targa and its quite a populaur conversion to change to a slicktop they say a weight saving of 40 to 50 kg due to centre bar and glass targas im working on the 2x2 slicktop theory.
  24. Some peolpe say you cant get a 2x2 slicktop maybe not factory but steve millen drove a 2x2 slicktop as a race car .Some peole say this was a fibreglass shell i dont know.Some one somewhere must of converted from targas to a steel roof on a 2x2.
