The lower the offset the more the wheels come out of the arches and you get more caliper clearance .You need non hubcentric bolt on spacers with no centre bore just a flat face to fit a smaller centre bore than 66.1.With 17" wheels mine are 8" front with a 25mm bolt on spacer with a +35 offset wheel this is now a +10 offset.fit no problems.On the rear 9" with a 20mm bolt on spacer and a 35+ offset wheel this is now a +15 offset.rear tyres 245 front 225. The rear is close to the arch .Bolt on spacers are safe and dont strain wheel bearings .Bolt ons come in 15mm 20mm 25mm 30mm.You need non hubsentric spacers to fit smaller centre bore wheels .Most after market jap wheels 5x114.3 tend to have large centre bore eg 73mm to fit a range of cars .these are normally suplied with spigot ring to go from 73mm to 66mm or so on.If no spigot ring are fitted its not a problem as the wheel nut tappers locate the wheels to the hub /spacer.Hope this hasnt confused you.

Can you get jdm front pipes for the zed eg hks /trust etc and how much thanks taff.

My work engineers at work pressed my old ones out with a 10 ton press.And pressed new powerflex ones in .now i changed the tensoin rods to rose jointed ARC rods.Loads better.

Hi mate pro r is thin thats race oil .Pro s is 10/50 its is still race oil but for road use .I havent heard of pro rs.Id recomend this oil thats all ive used on mine.The problem is you cant buy from anywhere mail order or shows only or from oilman.

Mine gives me shocks too how much petrol it drinks.

Hi mate ive got tein flex coilovers on mine if the are tein flex .To alter ride height you have to undo the bottom locking ring ,dont touch the top 2 rings because flex coilovers can be lowered or highered without altering the pre -load on the spring .Once bottom ring is undone, undo bottom shock mount and spin the lower bracket up or down the treaded strut its trail and error .Mesaure between the ring youve undone and the last locking ring on the spring end .I cut a cable tie and set the overside the same .Lock the bottom ring up to the bracket job done .If there not flex then you have to alter the spring preload top 2 rings i think these are HA/HR/HE type coilovers.

The pistons tend to stick when the pads are low for a long time .Push the pistons back with a crow bar or big screwdriver and lever against the old disc as it doesnt matter if you damage the old discs.Also keep an eye on fluid level when pushing pistons back soak with kitchen roll if too full dont spill on bodywork.Copper grease shims and pins and backs of pads.Degease new discs with spirit.

We get ripped off for japenese exhausts in the uk in japan there peanuts eg /trust/hks /veilside/apexi/.

Ive always said jap wheels are the best quality you can get .Alot of after market wheels are made in italy .Mine are jap trail tuning wheels 2 peice forged wheels with superb robot fish scale welding around the inside of the rim.In japan wheels are quite expensive compared to other tuning bits .eg rays or volks upto £500 plus per rim .A lot of jap wheels sell on ebay because they come over on imports and people change them for rubbish uk/italian made wheels.

Ive tried loads of diffrent offset wheels on my z and found you can run 8" wheels on the front with 0 offet and possible up to -15 .on the rear with 9" max is + 15 offset with out a arch roll. IF you flare the rear zed arch a low offset can be used .You can do this with a arch roller and heat just keep flareing untill you get it where you want it .Do search on driftworks for arch flareing.These are 17" wheels you will have to playabout with offsets when you alter the wheel width.For instance a 11 or 12 inch rear may fit with a high offset eg 50+ but with a + 15 offset it will stick out of the arch loads.A few of my freinds do drifting and they love 0 or - offset wheels so to make the rear or front track wider and to strech silly narrow tyres on big rims eg 195 0n 9" or 10" wheel this is to look good and lower the tyre ratio [sidewall] to stop side wall flex to make the car breakaway easier for driffting.

Some times imports come over with the wrong speed rated tyres because of the jap 112 mph speed limiter fitted. people buy cheap tyres with low speed rating .My mates skyline failed mot because the tyres were only rated to 125 mph .Also most zeds have the bong lights on sound above 60 mph .And radio needs converting to uk brandwidths .Also cruise wont set above a certain kph .
