  1. Here you are paul this is a braeakdown of the NGK part numbers EG PFR6B-11 P = Elecrode Type = Platinum F = Thread Measurements = Thread 14mm, pitch 1.25mm, Reach 19.0mm, hex 16.0mm R = Ressitor 6 = Heat rating, lower the no hotter the plug. B = Design Feature 11 = Gap size 1.1mm ZFR7F-11 Z = Electrode Type = Extended Gap (Extra Protection) F = Thread Measurements = Thread 14mm, pitch 1.25mm, Reach 19.0mm, hex 16.0mm R = Ressitor 7 = Heat rating, lower the no hotter the plug. F = Design Feature 11 = Gap size 1.1mm So people can compare the two and decide for themselves.
  2. Have you tried turning it off and back on again?:x::rofl::rofl:
  3. Someones good at copy and paste!! If you want to pay a tenner a plug thats your choice. You'll pay about 3.50 to 4.00 for zfr7f-11. Do a search on ZFR7F-11 you'll find alot of people have tried and tested them.
  4. Platinums are best for stock boost no doubt. But if your running upped boost the coppers give less chance of dett.
  5. People think im from Kent.............................. .....dunno why, i just hear them say it, they go "Kent, Kent"!!
  6. Coppers are only good for a few thousand i change mine every 1k anyway if you want a copper plug you dont need to gap buy zfr7f-11 they are rare but readily available.
  7. If you have a J spec id stick to a J spec door as uk have no belts in them cos its on the pillar.
  8. What the police do if they catch you sppeding etc is they record the points against your name and if you tot up to over 12 points they will ban you from driving on uk roads. Likewise they can still ban you from driving on uk roads if they deem your driving to be dangerous.
  9. There must of been something seriously wrong with your zed for a vectra to seem quick.
  10. It only takes a few mins more for the car to warm up with a koyo, bear in mind that the stock rad holds 2 lires of water tops the koyo holds closer to 10 so the system has a grater volume of water to heat. Its the small price you pay to be able to know that the cars not going to cook.
  11. Looks superb...............but....................... Will the bonnet shut?
  12. If i were you id go for the chip as some of the converters simply fool the ecu into thinking its going a different speed, fine on most cars but can upset the hicas on 300s as when your doing 80mph the ecu thinks your doing 80kmph and if you steer the hicas misbehaves. Also how long has the car been over here? chances are its alresdy been done, hacing said that i bought mine after it had been over here a few years and that was still limited, you need to find a nice (private) bit of road to see it is or not.
  13. Does sound quite good, can you put me down for 10 of each, its much cheaper than my current supplier!
  14. To much beer again?
  15. Probably an 096 would be the best if you need a bit more power, it has approx 680Cca and a 72Ah rate. Size wise its 5mm wider than a zed battery but 40mm shorter in height. Expect to pay about 70 quid for a DECENT one at a motor factors.
  16. You must make the Cca is as close to 570 as poss with a charge rate of at least 65 ah. Bosch figures may be a little lower because they tend to be very coservative with the figures on their batteries E.g one battery manufacturer may claim to have 570cca and 65ah and bosch may have exacly the same battery and label it as 520cca and 60ah.
  17. well as yours is a uk, you will find most parts are interchangable with j spec lwb models. if you want to swap your uk clocks for jap spec ones ill do that for you cos im good like that! I might even consider swapping your interior in your uk for the highly soughtafter japanese tweed!! Im all heart me!
  18. They put a gas anayliser on the expansion bottle to detect exhaust gases in the coolant, tells you if the head or head gasket is buggered.
  19. Thats why he has all the bling on his car, its so he can find it!
  20. Suspension parts are normally quite expensive, cams are chain driven so watch out for rattly ones. Toyota Cylinder heads are famously weak and the 2ZZ-GE engine is no exception, if i were you id have a sniffer test done on any one of these that your serious about buying. Generally toyota drivetrain etc is quite reliable, bodywork is bulletproof and they normally last well.
  21. Congrats on the new arrival, kiss goodbye to working on your zed!!!
  22. Happy Birthday Jonn.
  23. And lots of places will get it wrong!
  24. Fookin ell message from the dead!
