i got one for you too, my seems to pause for a split second when changing gear( like its having a little think!!), only does it when i driving gentle, its fine if i clog it. Its also only done this since i adjusted the TPS could that have owt to do with it??? Or am i just paranoid about autoboxes having had one fail on me before!!??? (sorry for the thread hijack roy)

Sounds like that fuel pressure thingy that tony c mentioned in the lasy post, all the other things (steamy exhaust in the morning etc) seen quite well almost normal for a zed. I take it youve tightened all the fuel line screwey uppy things under the bonnet? ( thats my specal technical term for em!!)

i will experement on my 400 mile drive today, I'll let you know the results!!

Ive got khumos on the front, theyve got a lovely traed pattern but shite grip, glad theyre nearly knackered, a kic up the arse to get some decent ones!

Thats the thing with driving offences, many people do not realise the trouble they can get themselves into untill they are neck deep, My boy racing days bought me a 2 1/2 year ban, 12 months probation and 100 community service. During the court proceedings my solicitor and barrister both told me i had a 50/50 chance of going to jail. I am glad they took me off the road when they did, if they hadn't i'd have probably ended up killing someone. In my opinion 17 is too young to be allowed to drive, however that bloke of 45 in the TVR really should know better.

I cleand my TPS ( i think ) the other day, that little black box on the side of the passenger side throttle body, as my tickover was a little uneven, when i put it back it ticked over at 2,000 revs until i realised you turn it with the screws loose to your desired tickover and now she purrs on tickover at a sweet bit below 1,000 revs. So if yours is too high, a twist of this TPS thingy should sort it. Good luck.

Pete you should be able to move that cooler a bit if you have a fiddle, just make sure its still in the airflow, and about the panel are you sure youre clipping the front bit of it in place properly first?

If it only cost 95p im not suprised the exhaust fell off, you pays yer money tou takes your chance!!! P.S Yours was a MK4 MK 1 upto B reg MK 2 upto G/H reg MK 3 upto J/K reg MK 4 upto..... oh whenever i lost interest after that!

Im SURE someone you know, but who is not directly related to you, must of been about, why dont you ask some of your friends there, there must be someone who saw it. If I had an accidentin my car, id make sure a "friend" of mine came forward as a "witness", if you know what I mean!!!
