I know that petrol companies have alot of rules and regs they have to conform to re cross contamination ,looking for leaks etc, having said that ive also seen how much of the wrong grade goes in the wrong tank at petrol stations. If you report it to the garage they are obliged to look into it, but it is very difficult in some cases, your best bet is get a can and put a pounds worth in it, and then follow the trading standards route. But if they have had a tanker scince you filled up your proof may get diluted. Trading standards dont mess about eitheir, i had a woman complain of a short measure once trading standards came in and turned me over, luckily our paperwork was all in order so i was in the clear. Also if you report it to the station itself, if they are not on the level it will give them a chance to cover their tracks.

I just finished (Except for a quick break to watch the qualifying) I had to fix a wobbly mirror to, so i even cleaned the impossible to get at bit on that while it was off. Ill bring some dusters for a bit of a competition tommorrow!!! Tried to take a pic, but not good quality as i did it with a phone!! See you in the morning.

Do you lose your power steering too? If so its your speed sensor.......but the good news is its not an expensive job.

I havent used them myself but I have heard that syvia engineering are very good, not cheap however, but what is on a zed? I had heard stories of people having to wait ages to get their car back from them, but this is down to giving them too short notice i believe that if you book the car in on a pre arranged date and agree a pick up date you should have no probs, however dont expect them to book you in next week as i believe they have quite a waiting list. You can give Jeff at Zedworld a call, site is in the links on this site he might be able to get you in a bit sooner, i can vouch for him as ive used zedworld on many occasions with no probs, as have many others on here. It would make sense, as when the speed sensor goes tits up the hicas light comes on and the hicas goes inop. Having said that, make sure you dont disable your power steering along with it, or if your my size youll only be able to drive in straight lines!

I think it depend on your speed in relation to the amount of turn, ie, it will come in at a lower speed if you give the steering a sudden yank if you swerve around something, but if you are just on a gentle curve it doesnt bother. Thats my theory anway!!
