Just saw this in the Autotrader, thats one CHEAP zed. Many thanks, mine had a relay on it before but it only lit up the outer brake lights when braking and the fogs when you turned them off but i took the relay out as it was attached to the stereo cage and kept making my stereo cut out. Can see this may take me some time and a few bulbs and feses!!!

Well thats the price sorted, but does anyone know what the size/pattern is so i can get one from sa local car spares shop? Or is it a nissan only specialist peice of copper?

Sumitomo??? Dont they make the stock BRAKES for the Zed???

Anyone know an idiots guide to setting up fogs in one side of the reverse lights. My J spec has them run through the inner rear brake lights but they now dont work for some reason so im goingto put that back to stock and start again if possible. All help appreciated, MOT due 13th of next month:(

Maybe one of the wires is loose, i know that when i had my astra the horn gave a little blip when you reconnected it after disconecting it, not sure if its the same on a zed or not??:confused:

Commiserations Craig, I take it you are still keeping the forum on though, theres probably hundreds of little zedders worried. As well as having your own kids youve got hundreds of little (and not so little) zedders to look after!!! I know that if it hadnt of been for this place, I woulnt have bought another 300zx when the first one broke. Myself and many zedders have a great deal to thank you for. Thats not a vacum line its some sort of electical wire, might be something to do with the turbo timer or something, i dunno to be honest i just poked it out of the way and left it alone!!

Found this little lot sitting in my front arch whilst doing my aiv's!! Wont need to fit those plastic windows now to keep the mass down!!! Its sad when you run out of bodywork to clean that you have to start on the inside of the bodywork!!!;)

Class mate, glad you got away with it. As for the PNC thing, I knew they can now check whether the vehicle is insured and taxed, and whether its been in any accidents, but as far as i know they cannot check MOT details as yet?:confused:

Wouldnt catch me having a chicken shit conversion on mine, Like Duff said I reckon a niceley driven petol zed would give very similar mpg to a gas one, but without the worry your going to explode if your cigarette blows back through the window and lands on the rear shelf!!!

Blimey, they were made in casis no order i believe, so except for crash test cars, i reckon yours was the 5th made!!! My first Z was no 196 and i thought that was old !!!! Oh and from that everyone should be able to work out the chasis number so if you see it, dont buy it!!! fookin nail!!!
