Im celebrating my 1000th postday today, anyone wishing me a happy postday will get their post count increased by 1 !!!

That sounds like the cat overheat warning light to me, ive neer seen mine, but from the large amount of time ive spent on here ive learnt that if youre running on 5 the unburnt fuel can egnite in the exhaust, thus overheating the cats.

Attached are two pics of my car when i had it jacked up, the jack in the pics isnt taking any wieght just there just in case! Anyway can anyone tell me if im doing this right?, seemed secure but im no mechanic! Id rather die at the wheel of my zed, not under the wheel!!!

Decided to do a sevice (well, my best attempt at one!) today. Changed oil to castrol 10/60 (as recomended by macca!) Changed coolant, (but i didnt empty the engine banks as I didnt know you had to till afterwards!!) I just removed the main hose underneath. Wil this need doing again? How much more water can the damn thing hold??? I filled a bucket!!! Also after I refilled it, took it for a run came back checked for leaks there were none, job done i thought, but when i went back to it it had made a very small puddle on the floor under the resevior tank, so i topped the rad back up but it only took about 50ml (res tank was still fine) took it for another run and it didnt do it. I am baffled, Am i somehow overfilling it as i figure the expansion tank has an overflow as previously ive over filled it and it comes out on the floor under it. Changed the Air filters too (pic attached of my handywork) Cleaned the throttle bodies (with my trusty toothbrush!)

My keys come out with the engine running, but only due to the turbo timer and i still have to press the button. Dont think your problem is the turbo timer, think its either a knackered barrel or button thingy.

That'll be kids doing that to put on their bmx, I had a couple of kids told me i had a nice car and nice dustcaps, and i told em if they werent there when i got back id drive over their bikes with them on em!!! Only question is are what are kids on bmx's doing at a motorway sevices!!:confused:
