Thats a 2+2 and its in the best colour!! Normally id say to walk away from buying if youre not sure about the seller, but as you say they do have a big language barrier to overcome so they could well be on the level. Have you not thought of buying one thats already been imported, that way you do get to inspect the goods. Im sure some of the other forum members will give you some good advice on importing one yourself as quite a few people have done this, mine was imported years before i bought it so i cant help on that, so give it till tommorrow night and see what replies youve got (most of the lucky buggers on here just sit at work and post on the forum in the daytime!!!) Good luck

    Which one, what model?
  4. b19rks replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - 300ZX Related
That list (which isnt mine!!) has various models, I admit at first glance you cant make head nor tail of it. Z32 relates to the shape, generally all 300zx's from 89 to 98 are all refered to as Z32's So the one yor going for is it a two seater or a 2+2, convertible, t-bar or very unlikely slick top (solid roof), ? Is it a TT (twin turbo) or N/A (normally aspirated) Most Jap spec 300's are either 2+2's or 2 seaters first made 1989, though the odd 1988 isnt unheard of. The convertible was released in 1993. Andy P is a bit clever with chasis numbers, maybe he'll take a look for you.

  12. Get with it nelson, think of all the MASS youll save by ditching the old modem!!!;)
  13. I think its got something to do with the fluid that has to be pumped around the autobox when its turning, when being towed this pump will either not be running or not running or if engine ticking over not running fast enough. Probably wrong, but worth a guess.
  14. Looks like i missed out on this one, seeing as i sleep all day.:D
  15. This might help. http://www.aus300zxclub.com/tech/year.htm
  16. Dont the 2 seater and 2+2's have a different boot depth im sure one has a deeper boot but i cant remember which.
  17. Thats nothing mate, Cows have leather backs!!!:D
  18. I hope that'll be on that little old lady's insurance mate!!;)
  19. Got to agree with duffer on this one, you say its like hitting a brick wall at Xmph, but this is not true. Say you are in a fiesta doing 50 mph and hit a truck doing 50mph for the truck it would be more like hitting a cardboard wall at 100mph, and for th fiesta more like hitting a lead wall at 100mph.
  20. The olnly thing i can recommend is dont ever hit a talbot samba, I head on'd one back in my boy racer days and due to then having a spare wheel under the bonnet theyre like hitting a wall!! I was impressed with the vauhall astra that i was driving at the time, as most of the impact was transfered to the roof putting great big ripples in it. Both me and my passenger were stupid enough not to be wearing seatbelts both car were doing approx 50mph each, i broke my nose, cracked the windscreen with my forehead and bent the steering wheel i was holding on to. My passenger got servere facial cuts but nothing broken, the people in the other car got different injuries because they were belted in. And the tosser who rammed my car and made me crash got a 6 month ban.
  21. If your quite a fat bloke you should fit a cambelt perfectly, if like me your a bit skinny you might need to wrap it round a few times!!
  22. Your rain water isnt.:D
  23. Hope your not considering abusing you authority FT!!!:D :D :D
  24. Rain water, if you get one of those drain pipe colleting thingys then after wasing the car with real water, just pour a couple or watering cans of rain on it, hey presto no spots!!! Doh, this wasnt a serious question was it?
  25. Matty, get in touch with me if you like, i bought my first Z from Mr Sahil in Nottingham, not only did I mansge to track the guy down to his home address, I also got all my money back. e mail berkeley.mather@orange.net or phone 07801 442937
