The only reason i haven`t looked at new stuff Paul is that i`ve been doing Toad for years now so don`t need any diagrams or instructions. You know what it`s like with a new product, having to look at the wiring diagram for every bloody wire, can put an hour on the job!! Bob

I had a similar problem last month, bought an E55 Merc off a dealer they had as a trade in. Previous owner had it on a private plate so when i bought it the original plates were on the back seat so i just stuck them on. Got it MOT`d no problem then went to tax it a couple of weeks later. DVLA had re-registered it on a different plate so the log book and MOT were totally different so couldn`t tax it, popped to the MOT place, he called the regional office and they just changed the details and he printed me a different one off

10% for all forces but then depending on where you are will determine how much more of a margin you have. Some are 10%+1 some are 10%+3, some are just 10%

Got went up on the ramps for MOT at my mates place and we discovered the drive shaft bolts on the front were only hand tight(not nice when the car regularly hits 160+!!) The oil pipes for the turbos had all been bent and twisted and not put back properly, new intake gasket had been fitted but the old paper one handn`t been removed properly so had air leak. Want me to go on??? Bob

The fact it was done at grasshopper should be enough to put you off after the fook up they made of my car! Bob

Yeah and a right tosser he is aswell, i used to subby for them until they wanted me to rip a customer off by fitting a cat1 when the car already had one fitted. Not the best reputation in the business.

Don`t buy a cheap GTR then, if you want a good one then you want to look at spending £12-£15k on one, good ones still hold their value and will be reliable if you get it from the right place. No disrespect intended but spending £9k on a GTR is like spending £1,500 on a 300zx, you get what you pay for!
