Be very wary with Gap, might be lucky and get a decent fitter but getting them out again if you have a problem can be a nightmare. Personally i fit Toad and never have a problem. Done shed loads of Z`s on here aswell and as far as i know no one has had a problem with them. Bob

I think the GTROC have a good team this year with Rocket Ronnie, Ron Kiddell and Tim Webster all running, don`t think they have anything under 600 and the team has been selected for handling aswell as drag

If you want all those features then go with a Clifford, however, if you want a good reliable alarm that will do it`s job without all the bells and whistles then go with a Toad Bob

So you want auto arming of the alarm without locking the doors? Can be done but why??

Auto Arm isn`t the best idea, you leave the keys in and you`re knackered. Can be done easily enough though with the Wizzard software and lead. Bob

You can fit a blanking plate or get a pocket that will fit in, think Nissan do one (can`t remember, not had a Z for a few years) or Autoleads do one, think it`s FP-06-00 but not 100%, can check Mon if no one else knows. The screws you have taken out are all there is, just a couple of clips on the bottom by the clock and job done!! Bob

Dash out, not as bad as a supra but similar set up, you`ll need a conversion lead and maybe aerial adaptor, apart from that straight forward. Bob

Why have you paid when the job isn`t finished, most of the wires are black so a wiring diagram won`t help that much. I can see you having alot of problems with this as Clifford reliability is down to the fitting. Bob

You have one MAJOR problem, your fitter hasn`t got a clue, if you haven`t paid him tell him to take it off and get someone who knows what they are doing. The Concept 650 is probably the easiest Clifford to fit and should take no more than 3 hrs start to finish. If he carries on guessing at what he`s doing you are in for problems for here on. Bob

If it`s an Alpine head unit then you can get an Alpine Interface unit that will allow you to switch the audio input from your changer to any Aux input. I`ll get a part number for you tomorrow. Bob
