  3. I had the same call, asked me for DOB so i told them to tell me what it was!! Said she needed to confirm it was me she was speaking to so i told her i wanted to confirm i was talking to the bank and asked for my sort code, DOB and the first, fourth and last number of my security code. Couldn`t give them so hung up!
  4. Andy`s isn`t a road legal car though, completley stripped and build for pure drag where as Keiths is a fully road legal car

  6. Unless you are totally familiar with the cars wiring and know what you are doing forget it. Pay someone who does or it will cost you in the long run. Bob

I`ll second that Smithy, as a business owner i know it takes a long time to gain a good reputation and 2 minutes to lose it, usually by people who jump on the band wagon without knowing all the facts. Bob
  9. Owl looks a beauty Mac, not into the bird thing but that looks stunning
  10. Been out with a few fooking vultures!
  11. Exactly, but never had a mechanical fault so says something about the quality of work that has gone into it

Because you can, no one else has done it so would be unique, it`s not the practical side of it it`s doing what no one else has
  18. £280.00 for fitting or if you buy it yourself from fleebay £150.00 Bob
  19. Toad is a very reliable alarm, we fit hundreds a year and probably get 1 or 2 back(usually for sensor adjustment) If you want a Cat1 then it will have to be pro fitted to satisfy the insurance company
  20. Hard to say without knowing how you have done the relay, just stick a meter across the neg battery terminal and see what the draw is. Sorry meant the dash clocks, easy enough to take out and saves messing with relays.
  21. The 2 doors and the boot are all seperate circuits that come together via diodes and to a relay. Alot of cars do this so they can have a symbol on the dash to display which one is open. If you take the clocks out and look in the plug on the left bottom as you are looking at the dash there is a red and white wire, this is common to both doors and the boot so might be easier connecting your timer relay to this. Bob
  22. Cornwall mate, spot on this time of year. I`ve got a place in Lanzarotte but airfares are a fortune during summer holidays!! Bob
  23. Bad earth is a common problem for this, make sure the amp wire is connected to bare metal on the chassis.
