  2. All Skylines are gorgeous :slap: (but thats another thread!!)
  3. Try hard wiring the DVD player rather than using the ciggie lighter, you may find that you will need a Sony Aux in interface for you head unit as the one for the changer is for just the changer. Check the earth on your head unit, the original is earthed through the bracket but when some people fit aftermarked headunits when they plug the aerial in the stereo works so leave it at that rather than connecting a new earth. If that fails try a ground loop isolator which plugs between the rca input to your head-unit and DVD audio out.

  6. Worked on that a few years ago and at the time probably the nicest Z i had ever seen (still is thinking about it). If anyone is looking for a stunning car it`s worth looking at. Bob

What will you gain from the course apart from a certificate and qualification? You have a business that is doing ok so you don`t need it to get a job. If it will make you a better coach then how much more income is to be gained from it? At the end of the day it is your choice, in my opinion qualifications prove you are able to study, practical experience is what brings the pennies in. Bob
  9. Go to the Apex-i website and download the fitting instructions for avcr. Will tell you where to pick up at the ECU. Bob
  10. Can`t remember the model but made by Lanzar UK supplier so no warranty worries! Bob
  11. I have 1 for sale, has built in FM modulator so will play through the speakers without wiring into your existing head unit. Fitted a few and work well. £145.00 plus postage Bob
  12. I have a picture somewhere of the North Wales Police Recruiting coach with fully tinted windows all round. Also got a Policemans BMW booked in for window tints on Monday!! Tried to kid him about them being illegal to which he grinned saying he was from Birkenhead where they have better things to do than chase motorists like North Wales !! Bob
  13. Lilliput are crap. Give me a call if you want, got a couple in you can have a look at. Second hand and one is already split. Nice and cheap!! Bob 07770268705
  14. Give me a call if you want, not telling you the hiding places on a public forum! Bob 07770268705

Think they were all running a bit more than 500, don`t think any of those are under 600. Get any car to those sort of figures and we all know how reliable they become. Bob

No reason why the 300`s shouldn`t make a name for themselves, afterall it was a RWD car that won the 1/4 mile shootout! Thought the CRD Supra was taking the piss a bit running slicks for the shootout, so pleased when a "standard looking" one whooped it`s arse.Supposed to be for street cars which makes you wonder what Ronnie is capable off if he removed all his seats, door cards, carpets etc. Top day though, impressed with alot of Scoobys and Evo`s and a MK1 Golf which gave a Porker a good run for it`s money. Bob
  19. The pin configuration is different on VAG cars, the main feed and ignition are opposite to normal and the blue remote out wire is a feed IN, cut it. Illumination wire is also a feed in for standard head unit. When plugging the harness in that comes with the stereo you are fitting use only 3 wires, main feed, ignition and earth. Cut the rest or you will blow your head unit. You will also find MW and LW will be crap, if you want these you will need an in-line aerial amp. Bob
  20. Isn`t it a standard ISO plug?
  21. Getting the tint off the rear screen will be a pain with the heated screen element. I can do window tinting but will allow Paul to quote. Bob
  22. Have a look on Ebay, i`ve had 3 off there at decent prices, S4PAH for the wife (Sarah), R33 BOW (for the Skyline) which was a bargain at £150.00 inc transfer fees and H6 SAS for Safe And Sound which was £450.00 including the car! Also got B 13ALD which is on retention Bob
  23. do you have a handbook for the alarm? if you do pm me the serial number and i will tell you your valet code, if not find the alarm in the car, get the serial number and send it over. Bob
  24. Take the sidelight out and stick 12v up the feed wire, should stick enough in the battery to unlock the doors with the remote!! Bob
