If he was hiding behind a tree was it a hand held unit? If so they can`t do you. Must be fixed on a tripod or similar or fixed in a van, hand helds have been proven to be unreliable. Bob

They are trying to ban Laser detectors, not radar detectors. The GPS based ones will still be legal as they give you advanced warning of the so called accident black spots where, as we all know that`s where all gatso`s are located!!! What they don`t like is you having advanced warning of the tw@ts that park up in the vans at the side of the road, which is what the Laser detectors do. Bob

Picked mine up today from Toys R Us £40.00 with a free steering wheels and pedals, all IR aswell so no mass of wires!!

I cracked one of mine, looked into getting it welded but would have been on my mind at speed so sent it off to Braid in Spain for them to strip down and replace the outer rim. Expensive but total peace of mind. Just my 2p. Bob
