  5. All 52 counties have the ability to recover a vehicle fitted with tracker, aswell as France and parts of Spain.
  6. Tracker pay for and install the Tracking devices in the police cars, it doesn`t come out of the police budget. GPS units are crap, cover the car and you have lost yout signal. The Tracker unit has an aerial which can transmit a signal upto 20 miles. Bob

  8. Can`t, i feel :hurl:
  9. Just had one with marmite and one with peanut butter just as part of this debate and as it`s such a close call need to experiment. Going to try the old faithful cheese and jam as thats always a winner on crackers!! Bob
  10. Tub-o marmite or peanut butter!!
  11. Got em sitting on the shelf, shouldn`t be a problem on the back screen as long as you have a connector to join to the original aerial in the boot or an extension peice to run to the head unit. Bob
  12. Yep internal ones are available. I can do them for £10.00 if you want one, stick on the inside of the glass and have an amplifier built in. Work well. Bob
  13. Gareth, i am an auto electrician in Chester, give me a call, get the car in and we will fix it. Bob the sparky, can we fix it? Yes we can !!

  16. Remote start can be added to any of the Clifford G4 or G5 range. Clifford do non-approved systems aswell as Cat1 systems. Remote start can be added to either of them at the same time or at a later date. You may have a cat1 system fitted that has had the remote start fitted as an option or it could be a basic unit again with remote start fitted. The only system they do that has it as standard is the Avantguard. Try and find the alarm in the car and there will be a model number on it. Let me know what it is and i`ll let you know if it`s an approved system or not. Bob
  17. The remote start is on a 2 wire fly lead, if they know Cliffords they will know this can be simply unplugged and you are left with a full Cat1 system. Have you got any paperwork or instructions for it? Bob
  18. Jon, find out which Clifford has been fitted, you may have a Cat1 alarm with the remote start fitted as an extra. Get them to disconnect the remote start and write you a certificate out. Any decent company will do this rather than take your money when they don`t have to. Bob
  19. Shift light? Bob
  20. http://www.gtplanet.net/gallery/gt4hr/1104694387921o One for the drifters
  21. You would get slaughtered on there me old mate!! One guy got a 1 week ban after 1 post. I had a telling off and my post edited for illegal content after saying i downloaded PS2 games. Good site for info but a bit too serious at times. Bob
  22. Sorry Mike, pinched it from GTR forum, hadn`t seen it before. Bob
  23. I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision. I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been having an affair. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out 'with the girls' a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them". I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car setting off. As if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her mobile up just to see what time it was and she went beserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her. Anyway, I have never approached her about this. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my car which would give me a veiw of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of. It was whilst crouched behind my car that I noticed rust around my rear wheel arch. Should I take it into a body repair shop or should I buy some stuff from Halfords and try to repair it myself?
  24. Might be stuck with 112mph top speed though! Bob
