  5. What about Skyline!! GTR33 V-spec is similar performance, bit more room in the back and can be had from 15k Please agree with me, just got one and feeling lonely:cry: Bob

he unit itself will only go that far and chances are you will only get radio2. Fit an FM expander and this will give you all the stations but radio will still only go to 90.
  8. looks ok, where did you get the hydraulic suspension from on the front??
  9. Get one! Value for money they take some beating, i have a WRX at the mo and do have some fun in it but for power, comfort, headturning and smile factor the Z takes it. (nearly as good as the Skyline):D
  10. Looks good, personally i would have gone with a sealed box as those ports are going to shoot straight into glass or the plastic trim. Looks good though. Bob
  11. Got an ECU coming (Abbey 1 bar) downpipes, intake and exhaust which should take it to 400 from what i`ve read on the forum. See how it goes from there, wheels are first as stock look to small. (They are 17`s if anyone wants to buy them!!!!) Got some 19`s on order.
  12. To be honest i don`t think there is a difference in Jap and UK spec a Middlehurst were only allowed 150 cars to import and sell with a UK chassis number. The main reason i went for is was the full history and clear HPI, something you can`t do with imports. If i was spending 5k probably wouldn`t bother but this was a bit more than that. Alot of guys with bigger wheels go with 10`s and as long as the offset is right don`t have a problem. Bob
  13. Took your advice and went for the UK car, chuffed to bits with it and drives so smooth it`s frightening. Hard to compare with the Z as it`s been a while since i drove one but although the power is there you don`t feel it like the Z as it feels smoother but when you look at the speedo your botty starts!!!! Got a nice set of 9 1/2 x 19`s ordered and will be upto grasshopper for some bolt on goodies! http://www.timr.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/DSCF0037.JPG
  14. Just you try it and i`ll snap ya legs ;) BOB
  15. Skyline GTR 34, get my 33 tomorrow so you can buy that if you want!!
  16. Go to Homebase, they reckon they can match anything up!!

Found this on Trading Standards Advice Leaflet................. The Consumer Credit Act 1974 gives 'good title' to the innocent private purchaser of a car which later turns out to be subject to a claim by a finance company because of a previous unpaid hire purchase or conditional sale agreement. This means that the finance company which is claiming the money cannot usually repossess the car against your will. Comments..

Tooley if that is correct then may be ok as my mate did it through his business. Maybe a bit of a gamble as we are both in chester and the car is 250 miles away!! Bob
  19. OK, making moves now to get my new motor. Spoke to main dealer who confirmed full history etc (Middlehurst, very helpful). Carried out HPI check and the car is clean with no history apart from finance. Where do i stand, should i make a cheque payable to the finance company and pay the guy or are there any laws and rules to protet me as the innocent buyer if he fails to pay the finance of when i hand oved my wad of hard earned?? Bob
  20. If the "club" is set up right then it should have the ability to accept credit card payments for such events. Simple really and not a massive cost involved. Bob
  21. Standard one.....http://www.timr.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/DSCF0037.JPG and the modded one........ http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14210
  22. Decided on my next car and have narrowed it down to 2 1) 1995 Skyline GTR33, stage1 upgrade(ecu, 1bar, exhaust, intake etc) running 360-380bhp, full history with Abbey Motorsport, 19 rims, lowered, midnight purple, mint condition 70000 miles £16k or 2) 1997 Skyline GTR33 v-spec 55000 miles uk car full history totally standard apart from ecu for upgrade to stage1 (needs exhaust, intake etc) £16.5k so, older car modded or newer car standard?? HELP Posting here as the cars are for sale on GTR forum and may get biased replies if they know whose cars i`m after!!
  23. might be able to help. don`t deal with HP but do use them when we fit trackers to cars that don`t have immobilisers. I will speak to tracker and see if i can scrounge one and get it to you. Bob
  24. Are they both Serpi Star? Alarm maybe but immobiliser may be different. Have a look for the certificate which will have model number, if you haven`t got it then try and get me a pic.
  25. let me know the make of immobiliser, if it bleeps when you put it in then sounds like apollo 2002 or microscan. if it has 3 pins inside and red led built in then it wll be. Bob 07770 268705
