  1. althought the fake purge kits are out there just found ou how much theyre are, and to be honest could think of better things to do with £250!!!
  2. http://www.turbobits.co.uk/acatalog/elabtronics_intelligent_intercooler_water_spray.html not a massively expensive water kit, that sprays water around the cooler...
  3. man that sounds expensive!! hoping tis not the worst news mate..
  4. R33 or R34 ? or do they both fit? Im guessing they are going to be much better than EBC upgraded discs for the zed?
  5. Personnaly i think vauxhall and renault are (corsa and those damn stuipid r5 Turbos :xxx: :xxx: ) .
  6. had infinity 16cm in my 200sx and they did sound good, quite a "bass-y" sound to them but were clear and worked pretty well throughout the volume range... no idea if they fit on a zed but gd speakers IMHO
  7. that mean you keep the nos system for the enigne and have a seperate system completely for the purging..? gets the looks but heading down the chav route a bit isnt it?
  8. il have to watch the first one and trey and grab a few scenes but sure ive seen a couple of zeds in it, and the whole end credits starts with a view of the 300zx logo on the center rear panel...
  9. co2 not expensive though is it? water injection ive no idea how good it is... just seemed a great idea to spray the cooler to keep it cool to me...
  10. yer without the nos connected its kind of along the lines of huge exhaust trims and having a weedy pipe underneth.. or those stupid light up washer jet things!!!! but if the nos is connected then they do look UBER cool IMHO and love one (plus the NOS)
  11. bet the 50l fuel tank lasts .. about 1 lap of silverstone... lol impressive stuff though
  12. Probably mostly aimed at the guys looking at NOS, but heard great things about Intercooler sprays... think they use CO2 or NOS and they cool the Intercooler simply by spraying the vanes... this in turn (obviously) reduces the temp of the air going through... meaning you could run more boost on stock turbos as the heating isnt such an issue... Just wondering if they worth the cash or the NOS be better going into the cylinders....? Also does the Zed have much space round the coolers for something like this / bigger wing mounted coolers?
  13. its easy to hate the film ,but its harmless fun to be honest IMHO !! I have payed to watch alot worse!! ALOT!!!
  14. sure theres more, the fast & furious has a couple in it if i remember correctly plus the end credits has the back of a 300
  15. Follow up post to my profec troubles guys... Im going to check every line to do with the boost system i can find tomorrow from the profec forward, but the instructions do not cover a twin turbo fitting and im not massively familar with the zed TT engine. Can anyone give me an idea where the T pieces should go, as well as the profec filter and anything else that im likely to need to check. Pictures would be a bonus, but happy for anything that could help me check the system. Cheers guys
  16. glad the beep is normal, cheers for the offer mate might give you a call when im looking at the pipes... as for filter that white looking thing that is just beyond my firewall into the bonnet..? (white / clear plastic...)
  17. no problems mate, no idea where to start with this damn thing appart from checking every inch of pipe under the bonnet connected to it.... going to be a long weekend!!
  18. as jack said, but could also try giving the brakes alittle bit of stick, really braking hard then going for normal braking, this has helped me on other cars before.... worth a try before anything else has to come off the car..
  19. right, my wireless and talk about the same age, but they must have shipped me abox with the old firmware... how good is your wireless connection? not a virus checker or firewall issue?
  20. i had tried the scheduler before from windwos but it didnt really work that slick to be honest... not really fussed for the language its compiled in, i havent done any coding since visual basic 4 or something (and was cr*p then!) !! Just after a small application that does the job... cheers for the offers guys
  21. wanadoo just over 2mb (8mb not on my exchange yet) and £10 p/m on offer with orange
  22. cheers guys, im going to rip it out this weekend, and slowly follow every pipe and wire through o try and check for anythign un-toward.... if this still turns up nothing then Im afraid it will have to go back to jeff... trouble is im not even sure if my profec works or is broken.... and i dont exactly live near jeff now! hopes of an electronic controller being simple gone! more hasstle than 7p boost jets :headvswal :headvswal
  23. :x: over 1k for manifolds.... thought they looked gd but i dont have enough organs to sell to ever get anything that pricey lol :headvswal
  24. How long you had wanadoo mate.. is it the wireless + talk live box as there is a recent ish update for the box (apparently ! after a recent dealing with their customer services they told me my live box was shipped with bad software so they sent an update for it..) might be worth a call / email to them... helped speed my connection up
  25. surely there are enough profecs in use here that someone can give me some idea where to start looking to get this to work...
