im running my xbox 360 in hd and the difference is huge, however if your on freeview i wouldnt get hopes up as they dont have the bandwidth, so only hd viewing is going to be through sky or (cr*ppy Ntl).

love the look of lambo doors on a zed, really suits the body shape IMHO

sucha great piece of software, how much did it cost including cable? something I definatly want when i get round to sorting a carputer..

my front catches on kerbs when parking, ive got a 99 spec front bumper but wasnt aware the car was lowered, so i would be careful going too far mate... speed bumps not a problem though

what to screen aerials look like? im after a really clean look ,and trying avoid lots of clutter to the car

fixed it now, only moved the aerial about 60degrees and all sorted... so pleased lol

My zed was decatted by the last owner and I luv the look, thing is reception is really bad, just wondering if anyone knows of an aerial i could stick somewhere inside the car to get decent reception? Ive heard people suggest running aerial cable along windscreen pillars, but the car has still got the exisiting cable and reception is no good. Ive tried connecting the aeiral from the rear window heater but thats no better to be honest.. Open to suggestions really...

I had a vtr a while back and was a nice car, at the time, think you would end up disapointed after a zed alittle, but it will handle better than the golf, and risking insult from others, i wouldnt have even included a punto on my list, they not great IMHO. Guess common sense catches up with us all, hope you get back in a zed soon... any reason you not got any of the fords on your list?

looks great and love the wheels... whats your current brake setup mate? standard calipers or what they look good (just small under your wheels)

Guys, daft question I know , but im in lincolnshire and my digital reception isnt what it should be. THe aerial in the house is pretty new and I have tried tuning my new tv with just the aerial and with a signal booster. What happens is i get most of the channels all the time, but only sometimes can i get the hits, tmf Men and motors and the radio stations. Where I work gets everything and its only a mile away, just wondering if i can find out which way my aerial should be pointing (and try the more scientific way rather than just moving it round until it gets better...) any advice welcome, else i might be in the loft all weekend...

mate, what sort of stuff is on the cd version? similar content to the type you would find in a haynes?

cheers guys, heard few different reasons for hot / cold etc, guess it doesnt really matter with uk temperatures anyways (be a bit different if it was -50 outside i guess..)

checking the engine oil... it need to be at running temperature? heat and then cooled down? or cold ? obviously standing level, but ive been doing a few short journeys recently so guessing i might need just to top her up and want to get it right... also i sem to remember the dip stick being difficult to read at the bottom althouh it might just be me...

cheers guys, hopefully when i get my profec set up correctly should make my zed a bit more brutal on acceleration... i guess its the setgain thingy to increase the spool up... have to go read the instructions again...

maybe i just need to spend the time sorting my profec setup out then... its an 04 m3 so new and fast... just the acceleration in 2nd 3rd was brutal.... i am in an auto zed though and my profec needs tweaking as it takes a while to hit full boost...

as per the subject really, its an 04 m3 i was in and it felt really fast, faster than my zed, but the owner said it had 343bhp from the book so i am reading that as flywheel. My zed shouold be around that bhp to be honest so weight aside, why doesnt it feel as fast (talking really the acceleration not top speed...) Any ideas on what i can do cheaply to get it faster? (ive got a profec so going to be tweaking it to get the full boost quicker so more of a kick...) Or am i dreaming in hoping to get m3 type performance from a stage 1 / 2 zed?
