  4. What version of windows are you running mate? You might be able to boot it into safe mode and then thats a good starting place to try and repair windows. If its xp/2k or NT then you could also try the "Press spacebar for last know configuration" option during start up (think its space anyway..) HTH

  13. Can i take an earth for my hids from one of the grounding kit points in my car with no side effects? I see no reason why in thoery but the zed is my first car with a grounding kit so thought id check
  14. Abs is standard no real space for real people in the back to be honest, more of a parcel rack than seatas A good zed will be reliable, same as any car, but one that hasnt been looked after (and is for sale at a daft price!) will cost lots.
  15. CAms, turbos and ecu? Makes it a really expensive converstion then surly! I know the autos turbos are abit smaller, but thought plenty of people were still using them with the manual gearbox? Also was under the impression you could use the auto ecu with the manual gearbox?

  20. The mrs mx5 engine is dead (overheated and suspect piston rings..) and have been advised to get a decent second hand engine. Have searched google (not hugly useful must be said for this!) and looked at the owners club (but again not very user friendly (or maybe im too used to 300zx.co.uk?) ) Either way, just wondering if anyone knows of any decent engine breakers that could be trusted and might have an mx5 1.6 engine? Cheers all...
  21. Right, any other thoughts? Wondering if we could ask for editorial rights to the page and then once we have access to the directory run some sort of applet to monitor page hits?
