lol thats quality maybe in the summer months it would be nice to have a zed meet further north we could do a northern scotish zed drive great roads up this way i don't mean it has to be so far up but would be a little less of a thought of a trek if i only had to travel 100miles instead of the extra 100 on top of that and i think there are 3 members as far north as me now just a thought maybe someone could put plan in to avtion for next year.

my bc's you can adjust both and i had my ones set to default for firmness which was 8 increments from 8 to 30 30 softest 0 hardest and on 8 it was mega hard like go cart hard for very fast road use, not great for long journeys but if thats what you like plus the bc's are cheaper.

so i'm super glueing it on then lol, if its under the vinyl then i presume that would need come off another riveted on and vinyl glued back in place sounds like a task and a half lol,

I recently removed my interior from my n/a and the drivers door panel is missing the metal bracket top right hand side which screws panel to the door edge and is hidden under the plastic bit of trim does anyone know can you buy a new one and if so where as once my interior is all done be nice if it all fitted back together perfectly without any flapping bits :)

That was me with the mirrors mate I think your getting confused either its your age or you've just lost track of how many people youv'e ripped off !!!

I bought my car back from the insurance and it was a total loss never to be allowed back on the road, chassis was so badly damaged but engine everything still fine I bought my car back for penny's and got a 4k of the insurance for the car there first offer was 800quid I made them get an independent assessor out to value the car it took a few months to get what i was happy with but well worth it the market value as far a insurance comapanys are concerned is not alot so just make sure you fight them for a fair price.

I had an issue with my na auto cutting out and not starting (have you had any issue previous to this) it was to do with the gearbox try holding the gear lever between park and Reverse but not locked in to select either and try starting it might work might not.

pricey are they lol

is there not anyone on the forum near danny that could go and take a look at his car maybe drive it see if the issue can be diagnosed because its frustrating trying to work out stuff like this by yourself and maybe just need fresh brain and eyes on it and as entertaining as this thread has been to read over its not really helpin the poor guy out with his frustrating brake issue. The stock brakes should be up to the task I have driven both my old tt which did have awful brakes but i was taught to drive and slow down using gears etc so never bothered me much, but on my first zed which was an N/a stock brakes they were really good better than at the time my brand new 2009 nissan qashqai

I would like to say a big thank you to both darren and Allan for providing such a comprehensive professional service with attention to detail, Initially there where a few issues getting the correct colour as its a BMW Individual and quite rare but they went above and beyond to make sure the colour was 100% correct before starting the job and they didn't give up so thanks guys. I would also like to say that anyone who is shopping around or thinking of having there zed painted rust sorted should stop shopping around and just send there car to Bodymech as you will get a great friendly knowledgeable service at an unbeatable price I live in the north of scotland a whopping 550miles from Nottingham and I wouldn't hesitate in putting my car back in Darren and Allans capable hands for any further repair or paintwork that it may need in the future Cracking work guys.

when I had my accident in june and had to claim off my own as other driver did a bunk mine had severe side impact vry similar to yours and I have a mate local with a bodyshop he said if i had been goin down root to repair he would have cut out the entire sill and replaced yours looks like it defo needs that and your door but as far as rear quart don't know mate prob cutting out quite a bit and welding new in etc would be needed for strength Have you had the underside checked to see if the chassis is still ok mine was twisted :(

Who are you insured with mate and have you got an agreed price on your car for worst case ?..
