Thinking of buying rear Tarox discs and pads and Front Tarox pads to use with larger discs anyone used had any experience with them only as the pads themselves are quite expensive just want to know if its worth the money Thoughts.....

I Always thought that I was british until I moved to scotland and sadly that appeared to not be the case I have been living in scotland since I was 15 and would not move back to England now (well never say never) but unless something drastic happened I am happy here.

I think the Z centre ones are pretty good thats what I have ordered for my car just replacing the lot saves on bushes too its a win win :)

I dare say that one of the roadside rescue company's will do deals for this to be honest its least of my worries and given the poor service i have had through AA i would prob be best of savin the cash :)

Really nice to read this gave me a warm feeling inside (no its not love) lol I have had a bad run of luck with the few zeds which i have owned and didnt join the club until I didnt have a car on the road but I will have my new car hopefully by april ish and I am looking forward to attending as many shows meets as I can afford given my sticks location I have met some really great guys through the forum which without having the love for the zed I would never have met so I am very excited about any meets and shows that I will be able to attend next year and meet other like minded people who love there cars more than anything else lol and hopefully show off my new motor :) will be 3rd time lucky.

Z32Bolt (politicians see common folk as cannon fodder and cash machines, that's not new and it's sadly unlikely to change) I agree with you there mate, But being a smaller country is easier to administrate to protect the national health service, free education and a fairer justice system. Because of my various illnesses I am on lots of medications for which Because I am in Scotland I do not need to pay for these England still charge if the rule was Uk spread i.e Scotland also I would not be able to afford some of the medications which I need to make my life easier and my body healthier.

If your going with the white no strip looks best u could always try it with some coloured wheel nuts see what it looks like

Ok 1/ There is this whole Boris Johnson Trying to change the rules for diesel car emissions which I partially agree with within london but he is trying to have the rule applied through out the uk including scotland and remote areas such as where I live which is just total shit as to start with people where encouraged to buy diesel cars 4x4's etc and where I live pretty much every household there second car is a 4x4 its almost a necessity come winter time if scotland go's independent I am dam sure that this rule would not apply to remote locations if any. 2/ Bedroom tax ok now this has now been abolished and over turned in scotland which is a win but initially when this was brought in by controlling bodies in Westminster it caused terrible distress to countless people forcing old people who had been in there house for years brought up there children in the very same house people aged 70-90 to be forced to move out of there homes with lifetimes worth of memories simply because they can not afford the stupid bedroom tax for the rooms which they were no longer using and lets face it they wouldn't be alive that much longer to put things bluntly to me this was bullying and myself suffered from this also I now live in a local authority house and have done ever since I became ill The house is adapted for me and had a spare room(For my carer when needed) when this rule came in I was served with letters to push me out of my home which at the time were very distressing given the fact that I was in hospital at the time. which didn't aid my recovery any sooner, I know this is a personal experience but i am sure that other people had this and worse and it all could have been avoided. 3/knives ok so I wasn't totally up on the whole knife law but I have had a quick scan and as far as I am aware In scotland anyway you are allowed to carry a pocket knife if you have a genuine reason for doing so i.e you need it for work and you are going to work coming back from work etc I actually have a friend who works on a local estate to me who needs a knife for his work, but in my own personal opinion I do not have a problem with hard crack down on knives as I have a few friends who have been subject of serious assaults involving knives and the damage they can do can be irreversible I do understand that people who go fishing and hunting may need knives but to me a knife is a knife if the blade locks when open its very dangerous.

Personally I like the neo chrome plating but may look a bit to bling I like the white but how about someone on here does the nice thing and photoshops toms car with lots of different cols to help him make up his mind :) but end of day its your car who cares what anyone else thinks if you like it what does it really matter everyone has different tastes and ideas of what loks good within reason of course NO PINK !!!!

I'm with you mate I am actually originally from liverpool but lived in scotland a long time and I am going to vote yes not going in to the reasons why dont want to ruffle feathers but I have good valid reasons.

Is it just me as I think 75 a corner is really cheap in fact I think 100 a corner is cheap especially when your in to 18+ tyre size not skirt :) anyway I would be happy paying up to £200 a corner if needed but I think you can get really top notch tyres for around the 130-150 mark.

£340 quid for four tyres thats a bargain lol I remember shelling out £600 for four tyres for my n/a on stock rims where u gettin your tyres at this price i'de pay that all day long :)

lol I think i'l go the legit route my shell has a v5 so I will just pay the transfer fee to swap my plates from my written off tt to what will be my new one once its near built :)

This is really interesting I am kinda in same boat ish or will be the car i crashed is on my drive but written off but doing reshell with pretty much everything plus new bits so basically what your sayin is I can use my plates of my written off tt on my new to be tt I would be interested to know if and what you find out for sure on this topic and if you need to pay any fee's for plate tranfer etc or how to do it.
