Ive got an irish plate on my zed and it starts off FCZ i think all the N. Ireland plated do and given this one looks same as uk like mine but your told its an irish one I would say its an FCZ one mate but i still reckon some techno geek could clean that up enough to see surely someone on here could do it

it does matter for insurance purposes as said by stephen above I am not planning to sell my car but i was burnt via my tt been written off in the crash in june (which wasn't my fault) but the muppet in the focus wasn't insured anyway beside the point if the prices keep rising then the bog standard market value will rise enough that normal insurance would cover the average zed. that said i will be getting agreed value classic insurance on my new one but if the market value rises enough it will make it much easier for people to obtain a high agreed value on there car if for some reason anything should happen to it as its just crazy to me to have a car insured normally ie market value zed which u have sunk say 8k plus in to. and just to add on from above post by Art213 I am proud to own a nissan great car if i wanted to i could have bought a lotus elise or a porsche but frankly don't like the elise yes its quick and does handle really well but look at it looks like a fancy tigra Proper hairdressers car And as for a porsche its just a bit too much of a penis extension costs too much and really not that exciting :tt2:

You might be cheaper paying some techno geek to clean up the video image so you can get the number plate of the car you should have a look see if you can find someone to do it as its amazing what can be done these days, also I'm gutted for u mate and if u find the boy string the ****er up.

thats quite interesting mate but as far as the accuracy it would depend on what time of the year the list was compiled as some zed owners only tax there vehicle for 6 months out of the year, But they certainly are becoming thin on the ground at least for a nice one as most of us restore our cars up the power and look after and keep them mint and never intend to sell I know that once my next zed is finished i prob wouldn't swap it for anything not even a Ferrari, well maybe i would but i would be selling that building a new zed and banking the rest :)

I don't like skylines my mate has one and its just a bit too much like a big micra lol a fast one at that but still for me it just dosn't have the zed appeal I could have had one too he wanted to swap his skyline for my last zed but i just wouldn't be happy enough with one.

I don't quite understand why the zed price isn't as high as even the 200's seem to be fetching higher prices its only because it makes it some what more difficult to insure the car for a high enough agreed value i will have to start talking to insurance companies soon see what i can get as I will need a minimum of 10k for insurance anyone know of some good ones to start with.

I agree with si about keeping the car for dry usage (Protect your pride and joy) as thats what my next one be for unless i get caught out and as for thrashing about in the rain and having fun on the public road thats just plain dangerous for other road users personally i don't think its cool, there is a time and place for driving your zed hard if you want to drive it like you stole it go on a track or buy a fiesta with a cherry bomb !!!!

I wouldn't drive mines in the wet either only time be out in rain is if i got caught in a shower had some interesting experiences with my first one in the wet, There best kept for arm days roof off, but good save the woman in the micra would a had a different face if you'd have been heading towards her ;)

I managed to drive near 600miles home recently stopping over in glasgow for the night The car was insured and its a bit of a grey area really i think as i did not post the little slip until the monday morning picked car up over weekend car still in previous owners name so technically its still taxed also and if you have insurance on it shouldn't be a problem, a dare say now the dvla have sorted out there online crash for taxing you could do it online at any time if you were worried but when i picked my car up the system was down so i just went for it :)

Ok so I have the rear subframe stripped down and drive shafts removed from diff but not hub any tips to get them out of hub ie tricks to stop driveshaft from spinning so can crank that massive nut managed with my na back end driveshafts no bother but the tt ones seem solid as hell answers on a postcard guys lol.

Alright mate not as far as i know no I had a friend who used to buy cat c and d cars to fix and sell on and he kept a few one for his wife and one for himself now He never did talk about insurance but he was a proper tight arse so i would imagine not lol, cat d is the least of them and as you prob know a cat d classed car can have something as little as scratches on all panels on one side or a dent in the wing maybe broken headlight tail light depending on the current market value of the car and how much he insurance approved rip off body shop will charge to repair it. I think you can get the cars really cheap and i know in some cases if the car is just badly scratched keyed maybe an unsightly dent it dosn't really need fixed to be driven it is just cosmetics not affecting the safety of the vehicle so all in all you can get a real bargain :). Not sure if this helped but needed kill a little time so hey ho :)

I think they look a little bit too fast and furious I toyed with arches for my new car but decided not to the zed is a nice looking car standard and a few mods they look sweet i think sometimes you can just go too far but it is up to you :)
