Yup, I studied elements of Meteorology at university and then again at nautical college. I've worked at sea and you have to be able to read the weather patterns and interpret the shipping forecast to be able to make safe navigation. It's all really interesting stuff.

Sorry Si, didn't mean to sound like an arse. I do like the seats themselves, nice colour of leather and the red piping looks good, matches the car. Just the drivers seat looks a little saggy in places and the base of the seat doesn't line up with the seat back that's all. :o

Right, all going well, I'm going to get my Z retrimmed towards the end of the year. Now, because of the colour of my car, I think it's slightly harder to choose the colour for the interior. Whilst I am a huge fan of T-Pots, both colour scheme and piping and wanting to do a carbon copy of it, I'm thinking maybe it'll clash with the body colour of mine, so thinking maybe a light grey? But I also like Jimmer's interior. If anyone's seen it they'll know it's grey with black bolsters. Looks lovely. I'd go for a lighter grey, quite a light grey infact. But, not sure whether to having grey piping or not? Can't make up my mind. Does anyone have pics of a Z with black bolsters and a light grey centre? Thanks

Absolutely love it! I'm fascinated by the weather anyway, so a nice powerful and violent storm is great. Unfortunately, you don't often get very violent thunderstorms over here. Best ones I've seen have been when I've been in the South of France and South East USA.

Satin black is best if you've got underbody stone chip on it. It's neutral and will give it a new look.

Replace it. The wiring gets brittle and breaks down. It's not a huge wiring loom, just a plug and play section about 20cm long. It clips into the sensor round at the back of the engine. MJP sells them. Think they are about £35

EGR bypass and knock sensor harness I did on mine, plus a few water hoses. Check your turbos too. Mine were in very very good condition so put reused them.

Yup as has been said, they've been the Holden HSV for some time now over in Aus. Infact, Holden Special Vehicles having been making the high performance saloong (Commadore) with the HSV unit inside. Similar car to the Omega. The 6.0 is relatively new, the older 5.7 is basically an LS1 engine. It's also sold in the states as the Pontiac GTO, but hasn't sold very well over there for some reason which you think it would. I do actually prefer the Lotus Carlton for some reason....mainly for its looks.
