  2. macshow been banned yet? I guess at least he's not evangelist I spose!
  3. PMSL! That white Nova is the one me and my friend Gaz build about 3 or 4 years ago as a piss take! It got onto all the major car sites....and globally!!! That scoop on the bonnet is half a flip top bin! It had a string roll cage and some guttering made into a twin exhaust.

Lee aka Import-ance lives in Slough.
  5. N/As are relatively cheap to maintain in comparison to the TT....much less can go wrong.
  6. Hehe, cheers bud. :) Where can I get polyseal? It is heat resistant then. No, the exhaust is very very clean and polished now as is most of the underside. :)
  7. Anyone know what's the best glue to use that will withstand high temperatures? The 'Veilside' metal badge is starting to come away from the tailpipe and I want to restick it. It's the one right on the tip. Apologies for the back box being so filthy, I'd only just paid the deposit for the thing when it was taken.

Still unsure on the 350Z. Seen some I like, but on the whole, they just don't do it for me.
  11. Good luck bud! I've heard you playing your guitar and you're bloody good at it! You certainly whoo the girls with it when they are round at yours! ;)
  12. ..just wondering if there are any....lol Both are playing live sets at Bristol's Academy on the 14th of October. Few of us are going up, would be nice to see some Zed-heads up there. :nana2:
  13. Exactly why does improving a car's looks mean one has to get out more?
  14. Mileage? Original turbos? Expect them to start smoking soon after you decat if they are old and the mileage is on the high side.
  15. I've already stated that...because JDM is brown/bronze and UK is blue
  16. America is a brilliant place, just because of a crap regime, doesn't mean you shouldn't visit. I hate Bush and his lead handed aggressive foreign polices, doesn't stop me liking the country and the vast majority of really cool people I've met over there. I've also been to a number of Islamic countries (Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt) and found the people there to be most friendly and pleasant.
  17. Just wondering if anyone's fitted the nice blue tints to their JDM model? Something I'm thinking about doing some day dependant on how long I keep the thing of course. I bet new glass costs a fortune!
  18. That's mad. The last one is my favourite.
  19. Never a truer word said.
  20. I agree with a lot of the above points. At colleges, I think mechanics is tought for most of these courses, but engineering principles is a relatively minor componment to it. One of the best mechanics I know (who is self taught, is a design engineer). As such he can relate to parts and understand them from a huge range of applications. At the end of the day, it all comes down to experience. No matter what you've learned/haven't, if you've been in the industry a long time doing a range of different things, then that's far better IMHO.
  21. Generally, you feel vibration from the propshaft bearing as it's the rubber carrier that goes rather than the bearing itself. Is the noise present in all gears?
  22. Looks good of you have a HUGE FMIC. If not, it will look cack IMHO. Not keen on the lip along the leading edge though. Tell you what I do like about the above is the nose panel. A really neat design. Rare to find ones that suit the car. The above does, and quite well. One of my favourite aftermarket front bumpers...and these are bloody pricey and hard to get hold of, is the Abflug one. Really nice bumper.
  23. You could have a butchers at an old Lexus Soarer dash, I think that would be more up your street.
  24. Some old Nissan Maximas came with digi dashes.
