Is it me or are there a sudden surge in stupid commercials ...do these marketing guys really think we're all THAT dumb?! this would

include a use of kindergarden level vocabulary

...they used to say (most likly still do) that comercials are the best insight into our society - the quickest way to gain an overall picture of how the UK is thinking and behaving.

 

...how old are you - it might be an age realted experience you are having - turning into a grumpy old man?

In replying to his post I was being polite as I live in the South East and assumed we had a new member that I might bump into one day. The topic and it's position in the forum was novel, but I had that down to inexperience. ...turned out to be me that was inexperienced.

Yeah that's a classic. I saw one yesterday though, probably the worst advert I've seen in a very very long time. It's the advert for 'The One' milk. Anyone seen this? Absolutely terrible. But I guess it works as I noticed it. Not for wanting the product, but because the advert was so utterly appalling!
