  1. My Z would be coming off the road about now too. Good to see you take it off the road for the winter. Must preserve as well as enjoy! My AM is still coming of the road though. Salt/grit, no thanks!
  2. Actually looks so much nicer on mobile. Nice!
  3. I might be missing something here, but whilst it has a slightly different design, I'm not quite sure how this new format really differs from the old one?
  4. It'll probably just go back into the bank account that your eBay account is set up with? I'm not sure past that point, you may have to email or call PayPal. They have UK contact numbers.
  5. They're not trying to send PayPal. The seller is refunding via PayPal which is subsequently issuing an echeque as the other party doesn't have PayPal.
  6. Where has the correspondence for this originated from? Ebay app? Email? If it's email, it's potentially a scam.
  7. As for the rear plate, depending on how many letters you have, in the fancyplates' plate constructor, you can select font orientation, so all lettering on one line which looks a lot neater than across 2 lines. Then you can select plate size exactly. So order a larger one than the aperture and in the comments, have it cut specifically to fit.
  8. 3/4 sized plate on my old Z. Had it on there for 15 years and never had a single issue with it. Fancyplates do them. Stick to a nice plain legible font, no graphics, borders, slogans, nothing gaudy and I doubt you'll have any issue.
  9. Go for it! I think it's what the club needs.
  10. Couldn’t agree more Gary!! Stick with PowerZed. A high quality bona fide outfit with unrivaled experience.
  11. No they didn't. Convertible was discontinued in 96 or 97.
  12. I converted a lot of my interior lights to LED and then a few years ago, ripped them all out for the original incandescent bulbs which IMO, are so much more easy on the eye
  13. San Francisco skyline. I actually need to finish it!! Weather is going to be shite on Saturday so probably a great time to do Legos!
  14. Sounds like an injector might have failed. Clean the plug and test the impedance. If the impedance is out, then you need to replace the injector. Fairly common now due to the age of the cars.
  15. 4 X Z trophies 1 X Z baseball cap 1 X Z photo on the window sill 1 X Large Z print on the wall 1 X Z 25th anniversary coaster (AndrewG) That's 8, the other two are a little difficult. The fan thing in the cup is a 'Z' fan given to me by the Tokyo Z Owners Club, not when I was in Tokyo but at ZCon last year. The last one, you'll see a sheet of paper with pink lines on it. That is indeed the new keeper slip for my Z when I sold it. That makes 10.
  16. ^^^ originals look the best by a country mile. Try Banzai Breakers. Getting hard to find now in good condition. The Two Turbo ones went NLA a good few years ago now. NA ones are still available new afaik
  17. I work from home and I converted the smallest room into home office. It looks pretty crappy, I haven't really done much other than get lucky with getting a perfectly fitted wrap around desk in there. Might have to get photos of a different car manufacturer up there at some point! How many Z related articles can you all spot? There's quite a few of them! 10 in total! 2 of them are very difficult to guess. The keys are not the Z keys either as it was taken after it was sold.
  18. Warren didn't do my arms. He was a little reluctant as he couldn't strip them. You don't need to strip them, but there are a few small areas that don't look as good as a factory job, but it's not something you'd notice. Everything else however I had him do. He might do the arms though.
  19. I'll have a check, I still have a huge stash of Z related nuts and bolts.
  20. Externally, I will always find the original lines the most attractive. Don't get me wrong the 99-spec looks great in its own right, but there's something Uber cool about the original exterior. Early spoiler and bumpers. I feel there's almost nothing that can be done to improve on it other than minor tweaks like wheels/suspension, blue glassand rear lights.
  21. I really liked the velour. They're more comfy than the leather, don't creak and don't pan-fry your thighs in summer.
  22. Silicone also doesn't seal unless it's actually bonded to another substrate.
  23. Because silicone has a different shore rating to rubber. So any pressure on the silicone is going to make the rubbers behave differently and pressure applied to the silicone will change the characteristics of the rubber and the way it flexes.
