Best tyre size for 10" wide alloys
I'd fit a 285 35 I have just fitted 275 to my 9.5" wide rears and they fit perfectly (I had 265s before and just looked wrong). Now have a nice flat tyre wall, no ugly stretching. On a 10" wheel, I'd fit no narrower than a 285 with a 35 profile.

Stock dump valves
That's all. :)

supercharged 8-litre astra
Oh good God! What a nightmare! I'd put it up there if there were better photos of it. Good find, need more photos! On a side note, I do actually know someone who's fitted an LS1 to an Astra coupe. RWD 400bhp in an Astra!

Inter club RR Day 18th oct @ Alan Jefferies in Plymouth
Get Jimmer to take his down and show all the other car clubs up! Long live the Z32!

A: The car probably won't be taxed. I've SORN'd it as from tomorrow and B: there will probably be loads of salt/grit on the roads. I quite enjoy driving my little Seat Leon anyway. :) We'll see.

do i need to re-new???
Not bad mate. I was wondering the same thing. Not seen you online posting for a bit. Doing your usual self and having spurts of it? Still got your Z up for sale. Shame to see it go.

I've got the spending bug again!
I probably won't, because I can't be bothered, but I do like it. Gloss black roof bars I am deffo doing. Rear screen is getting a very mild tint too.

I've got the spending bug again!
No, I like it. You can use it to hide away the fog lights and indicators in a semi-standard state! LOL

I've got the spending bug again!
Those are old photos. Few small blemishes on it now, but not a lot. I fitted nice new fog-light lenses since too. So looks nice and fresh.

I've got the spending bug again!
Only from tomorrow it is! I officially have 1hr and 35 mins left if I want to take it out...but, wait....the road is wet outside! LOL I might re-tax it again in a month, will see how I feel. Other than that, it'll stay in the garage for the winter to be kept away from the ravages of salt and shite.

I've got the spending bug again!
Indeed, yes, I shaved it, along with the sills and rear bumper, but narr, the body is staying as it is. The only plan I have for it other than the black roof bars is to possibly have the grey 'moustache' repainted on it, fit some UK spec smoked corners and tint the reflector of the fog lights. A bit like this p'shop of someone else's car.

I've got the spending bug again!
I thought about it long and hard but no, I really like the original TT front bumper and prefer it to the 99-spec and since I've done this to it, it would seem a little pointless really. I do like the 99 fascia, but I think the early TT ones look a little more aggressive. If I was starting again I'd get the escort racing fascia, basically a 99-spec with a nice lip and Kaminari sides. But keeping the main body of the car original and clutter free.

Which boost controller
Part did it with Jimmer (seats) and I sent the trim panels to a trim shop as because I wanted all the edges double stitched. Sewing leather is a PITA too and I wanted it to look right. Thanks :)

Which boost controller
I was gonna say. I'd remove it, get the engine back to stock and work your way from there. I'm not fitting a boost controller until every last thing is working sensor wise. I fixed faulty TPS at the weekend. So far, just the o2 sensors to replace before purchase of a more aggressive chip. One of my 02 sensors is fine, but going to replace both anyway. One is being a little lazy. I want to replace the fuel filter, CTS and get some new spark plugs even before I get the chip, let alone before a boost controller.

I've got the spending bug again!
I'd hate to think what I've spent. Probably in the region of £15k excluding the cost of the car itself which was about £5k I think, I could have a bought an NSX for that!! That's a drop in the ocean compared to what some people on here have spent! I'm having fun doing it though. :D

I've got the spending bug again!
It won't go away! I'm not doing anything mega to the Z either as I've done pretty much everything 'big' that I want to for the time being, just odds and sods here and there. I thought I could give it a break but I can't. Replaced all the tyres today not just because they needed to, but because I wanted to go a little wider and Jesus H Christ, it made a difference. Stance is near as how I want it as possible. But wait; I want to buy a boost controller in a few weeks time, I'm picking up some new O2 sensors from Mario tomorrow, then there's a new 4 channel amp I want to get, new chip from either JD or AP, the car's going to the bodyshop before the end of the year to get the roof bars painted gloss black. Along with that (even though they still look very good) I want new targa trims, window trims etc. I had it SORN today because I can't be bothered to re-tax it. I'd rather tinker about with it in the garage for a bit! I thought I'd stop spending after the interior. Apparently not. :(

Oh yeah, it's back now. How odd. Well, mine's working fine then. LOL

Actually no they're not, my little icon has disappeared. But I can still access via the ride section and the link in my signature.

audi r8
That's fine, they are the ugliest car Audi have ever designed. I like Audi, but their designers have made a few wrong turns starting off with the A2, then the Q7, then the A3 cabrio finishing up with their cheesy LED running lights.

They are both the same price. I can tell you what I'd rather have!
