  1. DTA for the bushes. MJP for the track rod ends.
  2. None sealed joint. Bolts along the inside of the boot (removal of interior trim required), expanding screw revets under neath and two exterior screws in each lower corner of the bumper (external)
  3. You don't need edge finising on the joins if you do it properly.
  4. ...here's a crude MS Paint drawing I did to illustrate.... bolt holes in black, the red indicating the diameter. Edit....which now look purple! LOL
  5. Sorry, I re-wrote it. Not sure why I put that up. Basically, if you had a 5 stud pattern layed out and drew a circle through all points of the centre of the bolt holes and measured the diameter of that circle, that would be the diameter measurement.
  6. The stud spacing. You should have a '5x' before that. Hinting that it's a 5 bolt stud pattern at 114.3mm diameter.
  7. Meh, I was in Barcelona last weekend and it was 26! ;) Think everyone's getting blown away and killed in storms now over there at the moment though. :(
  8. Why do you think I gave mine to a trim shop!? LOL I had to get my leather skin made up in panels as leather doesn't really have much 'give'. Even the trimmers said the Z32 is quite hard to trim if you're stitching everything on.
  9. The backs are harder. More curves and contours. You have to do it bit-by-bit so the glue doesnt lift.
  10. Yes. You can shim with spacers. I have 20mm bolt-on hubcentric spacers on mine, but that's only really for aesthetics. Aids handling a little too. Spacers don't really effect the geometry, the camber and toe are for that. It exaggerates any shortfalls in these though.
  11. There's a difference between working out the offset and working out how much distance there is between the inner wheel face, which is the inside of the spokes and the hub. This won't be the centre-line of the wheel (which is what you use for measuring offset). It's the caliper that you want to be more concerned about over the disk size. I can't answer the last bit though as I never track my car and currently have stock brakes.
  12. If you want some info on PCD, click the link. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1134648&postcount=2
  13. You need to find out whether the design of the inner wheel face can accommodate the callipers as well as whether the wheel diameter can. PCD and offset of a wheel won't really dictate what brakes you can have. Calliper design/size, hub sizing, centre bore and disk design will. Different styles of wheels of the same diameter and offset+width will accept different types of brakes and vica versa. You'll only really know of any contacting surface once you trial fit the wheels, unless you get data sheets for the brake callipers, work out how far the inner part of the spoke is from the hub and compare to the dimensions of the calliper and its mounting point on the lower part of the strut. What brakes are you wanting to fit?
  14. I used to have the split rim versions of those. They had chromed centres on them and the inner parts of the wheels, not the faces, were hard to clean too.
  15. They look piss easy!! These are the hardest wheels I've ever had to clean because of the recessed bolts.
  16. You should try cleaning mine if you think they are a bugger to clean!
  17. Even still, you'd be best keeping the money in your pocket. There are a million and one better that you could do with your money rather than glue fibreglass to your car. I don't mind the rear bumper. Yuk @ that front bumper. I like the side skirts, but that's probably because they are Stillen / Stillen replicas and the rear spoiler is a Kaminari item. Can't work out why they'd leave the recess line in there after going to the trouble of fitting new bumpers without recess lines. It's the same if you're just to put an aftermarket fascia on and leave the rest stock. Never looks quite right. The whole car is pretty much photoshopped with anyway. It's not the worst front bumper I've seen but it's like some bastard cross between a Cyberman head..... ...and the 'Delta 3 front bumper' from Carlton Automotive (the world's WORST bodykit manufacterer)
  18. I miss those Rays wheels.
  19. I've just found a packet of Phenergen which aren't really a sleeping tablet, they just make you drowsy, so I’ll feel just as *****cks as I am today, but probably worse and I want to work on my Z tomorrow. More cleaning and tyre fitting.
  20. LOL, see that brown peice of muddy water with all that phlegm in it....that's your swimming pool that is.
  21. The last horseman had raided Halfords and loaded up with this little lot of automotive detritus. ad infinitum
  22. Agreed, terrible music. Nice women though. I turned the sound off and put on some LTJBukem to chill out to. :) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rFVHjZYoq4Q
