Recommended Posts

Hi guys, iam looking to upgrade my brake discs.

Iam going to be using my standard calipers and ive got 19" rims fitted not sure what size i can go up to, any ideas most welcome.

hi matey

i have got 350z track discs (brembo) with relocating brackets and standard calipers on 18" wheels, currently running ferrado 2500 pads which squeal like a pig when hot:rant::eek:

good stopping power for a cheap price.

I've got 18" rims on my black car, I managed to fit 345mm discs, stock calipers with relocation brackets.

The difference is phenominal.

Here you go this is what i got http://www.db-power.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=128_148_230&products_id=272

This size is the best to keep the the look of the car balanced

Or do what ive done 356mm all round. Thats stoping power

if you look at dunks front discs, they look 2 piece, not sure tho.

come on dunk, what discs are they?

They are one piece and the center is sprayed gold so they will never rust. ;)

These were my old set up bought off the link above. so they were nice and cheap and hassel free to fit, just bolt on and go :)

You should be able to see what i mean now the the caliper size compaired to the disc. it would look a little odd imho

You need to bear in mind that when you do a brake upgrade, that beautiful space saver you normally have in the back will not fit on the front anymore, so budget for another wheel and tyre, or join a good recovery company and get a Soduko book to fill out whilst your waiting for them to turn up.

Never thought about that, good point, is that the voice of experience? :D

just getting rid of green flag at the minuite, anybody recomend any good recovery companys, all it needs to be is recovery to any uk address, dont need anything else like home start or replacement car stuff, just for 3 cars and 2 people. only checked rac and AA and worked out to be about 100 quid, green flag wanted £175
