Like warm beer:eek: with me mates that is and working in 30+ temps is not for the poor pommie bloke as I found out, and I should harden up and stop whingin. I haven't got a Zed yet, I am waiting till we buy our own house so I can get a propper shed for it to sit in. Anyway hi to everyone and keep on Zedding Scrawni. Funkysi
Britain has it's merits, but its not a country I'd like to remain in. My only reasons being the weather, the lack of any space and the absolute uncontrollable vehicle conjestion on the roads. I can cope with everything else. Quite fortunate to live in the civilised western world regardless of 'issues' people have with various government decisions. I'm fortunate enough not to be in poverty, to have a doctor I can go and see when I am ill, to have transport, a place to live in an area with very little crime rate. You know you always seem to put things into pospective (spelling), I don't have the comforts I had in the UK but will do when we settle properly. I had it good in the UK but I have it better here, more money in my pocket, more easy going people, better roads with less conjestion, more sunshine and colder beer. There have been time when we have said "why did we leave a good life behind?" but it was only good because I worked seven days a week most of the time, now my weekends are mine, I just need a Zed to spend them in. The Zed guys here are top blokes just like pomgolia, it must be a Zed thing.
bantambunny
Mate when you see where my new house is you'll wish you were living back in the UK ;) Hope everything's going good with you, i'm finally getting my own place and it's amazing a little cottage hidden behind a farm house in North Kilworth near lutterworth. Middle of nowhere, whisper quiet outside, the views from all round are amazing, gravel driveway, sheep, local pub down the road and 10 mins from work and the most amazing housemate ever - she's great :D We went from looking at it one day to putting the deposit down within 24 hours, completely fell in love with it. Moving in next week fingers crossed, just waiting for the all go from the estate agents :hyper:

scrawni
That looks stunning Bunnyman, sounds like life is good and about time too. The countryside around there is some of the best in the midlands in my opinion, but watch the speed cameras. All is good at the moment we are renting a nice big place with room to put people up if they want, but with the way the stock markets are now and the exchange rates getting better for me, we have started to look houses to buy.
