Boost, dont we love it!
I'd take out your boost jets before fitting your boost controller if I was you! If you have a stock bottom end and tubs, then set it to 14. Which, dependant on what size boost jets you have may equate to a similar boost pressure thus offering similar performance withouth the risk of the spiking you can get from the jets.

Christ 3G is quick!
I see the real interest in 3G. Before, it was a gimmick for people who wanted to make video calls. But now that everyone can see its benefit, yes, I agree, it's going to catch on. I think it's excellent! Just a shame that our homes are still full of copper! I wonder when the phone companies are going to bite the bullet and start installing fiber optics like they're doing in mainland Europe.

Christ 3G is quick!
I've just come out of a meeting and had a few hours to spare. So came down to one of the parks overlooking Poole bay, and, what do ya know, it's 3G down here! Hell, it's fast. Only ever used 3G on my phone for internet, always seemed to pick up 2G with my laptop modem dongle. Well, it's quicker, by quite a bit over my broadband connection at home! It's really nice and warm down here. Deserted and I've managed to find a bench and table outside that is now my office for the next hour! LOL Have the odd dog walker looking at me rather strangely wondering what I'm doing. It's just odd being out in the middle of a field over looking the sea getting internet at a much higher speed than I do when I am at home! Quite an odd sensation actually.

Check your junk inbox. Most auto-generated mail finds its way in there. You will have gotten an advisory notice. I always have. The system doesn't not send emails out, it's programmed to.

We were out ...............Where were U??
Nice selection. Good to see lads! Had a mini get together yesterday with Jimmer and Old_zed. Would have been nice to have gone out for a group drive rather than be sat at home machine polishing the Z. But it was one thing I kept putting off and off.
-
Look at today....Zed weather
I spent most of the day machine polishing the rest of mine. Would rather have been out driving, but I've had Jimmer's buffer in my garage for months (awaits pathetic inuendos!), so kinda really need to give it back! It may have been the last weekend unfortunately, but it was a toss-up between driving the Z or using the fact that it was dry and warm to to bits and bobs to it. Next week is supposed to be cooler and a little wet at times, but I think next weekend is set to be 'ok'. But my Z will be on spacer savers (Thanks John!) next week as I'm having some mild scuff marks removed from 2 wheels plus nice new beefier tyres fitted. :)

Your thoughts on price ....
Looks like the car's just been washed. If you look at it, you'll see the paint is still wet giving off a slightly different colour.

my brother being silly again
PMSL! Cool!

And heres some pics.
Digital climate control was dropped and became an option in series 4 onwards.

And heres some pics.
Sounds good. Not too many slicktop TTs as late as yours about. 99-rear lights is about all I'd do to it and a subtle drop. :)
-
And heres some pics.
.....looks like it has an early glove box. I know that Nissan reverted to a black tweed on series 4 models, but looks like a grey glove box you have there from an early one.

Lovely mate! Really nice to see one so tidy! Perfect! Hope it's staying pretty much as it is looking wise. You already have some nice wheels and a cracking shell!

Grey LWB on the roundabout ontop of the M32 - Bristol
I was in the white one. Took a few beeps to get your attention. Looked like you were in a hurry! Nice tidy Z.

Your thoughts on price ....
I'd be interested to see what else anyone can find of similar year with this performance and exclusivity levels. You can buy an M3, which is a great machine, but unimaginative, and, compared to the Z, common. The rest of the bunch are just Z competitors anyway. Late Supra TTs, Skyline R33s etc and a few XK8s. None of which I'd choose purely because of the reason that I originally bought my Z. There's still very little 'exiting' cars in the £7,000 - £8,000 price range and when the norm "£5k will buy you a minter" usually refers to cars up to about a 94. Certainly not one that's barely 10 years old! TBH, surely shouldn't Z owners feel pleased that their cars can still be valued as such.

HKS EVC 4 plus other old-skool boost controllers.
Just a shame it has silver nobs and a blue screen. I do like it though.
-
HKS EVC 4 plus other old-skool boost controllers.
No thanks! LOL The thing with boost controllers etc is that there's very few places to put them on inside a Z. I don't want to spoil the nice curves of the dash by bolting stuff on, here there and everywhere. Which is why I want something small and desecrate. :)

Is this the check control for AT?
Thanks for the link. I've not actually seen that. Interesting. One thing I am puzzled by though is why he didn't cut the panels out and fit plastic shrounds round them rather than having what looks foam at the top and bottom. The bezel could have been modified with additional plastic and some resin + a bit of plasti-colour paint. The idea is the route I am going to go.
-
What front end is this?
TBH, Your front end looks WAAAAYYYYYYYY better. I quite like the EC1, but it's not a patch on what you currently have and it certainly won't match your skirts and rear bumper. LOL @ the chicken wire.
-
What front end is this?
Looks like a Veilside EC1 replica.

Sky remote controls!
Sod that, I hate those too!

Sky remote controls!
That's where I remember you from!............. ;)

Sky remote controls!
Not sure you quite get what I mean. I MEAN that it makes me squirm LIKE what happens when you run your fingers down a blackboard. Not, it feels like you're running your fingers down a blackboard.

Spot my zed on the cover of nissan sport (celebarting 50 years) :D
Sorry. Didn't mean to. :( NSUSA is a cracking magazine. Shame we don't get a UK version. Mind you, the Nissan scene in the UK is pretty much 'Skyline, Skyline Skyline'. There are no Pulsars about anymore. The SX guys just all go drifting. The 300zx is deminishing and the 350Z crowd, well, tend not to be made up of Z or Nissan enthusiasts in the main. Saying that, Nissan do little for me, other than the Z car range, I can't honestly say that I'd consider buying any other Nissan at the point in life. Least in the US, you get a LOT of Z cars (they have a strong cult following), some nice Infinitys and some pretty cool pickups. We get the Micra! I don't think a mag of that type would sell in the UK unfortunately. I don't care what anyone says, the G35 looks so much better in the flesh than the 350Z The yanks also get this! Which we don't yet!
