Whenever I go to my parents at Christmas, there's always those big fat tubes of twiglets. About the only thing I like about Christmas as it gives me a right chance to chow-down! Yummie!

99.9p, that's cheap. Christ, never thought I'd hear myself mutter that phrase as a year ago, I'd have gone 'christ, that's f***ing expensive'.

Only trouble with a shim kit is that it's not that adjustable. I considered it initially when looking for a good setup for mine, but personally, I'd go for the rose jointed adjustable tension rods and adjustable camber arms. Easier to tune and is a little more precise.

Check your TPS wiring as well as its voltage setting. Do you have access to a ConZult or Datscan system?

Not quite true. All sapphire blue Z32s came with blue tint glass over the stock bronze tint, both SWB and LWB.

Quite a number of Zs on the US forum approaching 300k. Some still on their original tubs at 200k. I like the E46 M3. Very nice car but I'd never have one.

Nice work. I had all this done too about 3 months ago. Make a nice difference both in feel and visually. My fronts need tweeking A little as it's settled some more since.

Strangely enough, Z32s have a wooden panel inside them....as well as a compressed wood/glue composite. LOL But yeah, using wood to shim out panel work is just the absolute pits! Reminds me of the old Dutton Sierra kit cars that were made of chip-board, nails, glue and fibreglass!

Jesus H Christ! What on earth? That is unbelievable that someone handed the car back looking like that, let alone going that route to fix a kit to a car. I've seen similar done to a Z32, but not to this level. That's shocking. I can do a better job and I'm not a professional bodyshop! It reminds me of a 17 year old kid, earning £90 a month stacking shelves at Asda who's saved up all his money and bought a 99p bodykit off ebay for his Corsa that he then spent the next evenings (when he wasn't doing homework) fitting with his retarded friends with wood and nails!

You will most likely get an absolute turd for under £1k. Bargains CAN be had though, but personally, I'd never look at Zs for those sorts of prices. Zs make VERY expensive DDs and if you've only got 1k to spend on purchasing one..........Good luck in your hunt Z though. :)

Had a chat with AndyP last night who mentioned a number of you living in the Standstead sort of area and suggested a mid-week pub meet. I'm always over the bridge in Gravesend, which isn't too far for me to travel and just wondered if anyone's up for a mini-meet one evening. I'm down here at the moment and everyone (UKHQ for me is here). I'm actually down again in 2 weeks time (last week of the month) as well as every month.
