  1. He used silver foil tape I believe.
  2. Pretty easy to find, they're on a sticky in club announcements. https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?132462-300ZX-CO-UK-Acceptable-Use-Policy-(AUP)
  3. Stay safe! I'm in West Wales at the moment and the skies look very odd. Reminds of the skies just before a huge storm cell/tornado in the Midwestern US.
  4. Awesome dude! Was chuffed to bits when you originally told me about it!
  5. Why don't you just take the A-pillar cover off......
  6. Absolutely, a genuine all round good guy.
  7. You're his Dad, that doesn't really count. ;)
  8. Cherry red pearl was never available on UK spec Z32s or do you mean Aztec red, the solid red (AG2)?
  9. I'd say leave them as they are, just get them blasted and powder coated silver. It'll be a much sharper image.
  10. Ian, that's terrible mate.
  11. No there aren't 'loads' in Somerset or Devon. A handful at best.
  12. Not the case anymore, they're happy to search through non domestic parts on their system as they have a direct link.
  13. You'll need to order one through Nissan or allcarpartsfast.co.uk Let me know if you need the part number. I bought a brand new one last year and had it fitted earlier in the year. Definitely worth it in terms of fit and finish.
  14. That alone is tantamount to fraud as well as theft if that's the case.
  15. Welcome! If you're able to, try and get yourself a new genuine original. They are still available and can be sealed from behind to stop the blistering from occurring further on down the line. The fibreglass ones don't fit very well and don't have the finish the original one does.
  16. WTF? Is that even legal!? How come Ian didn't pay?
  17. It's sad that things like this happen. Unfortunately I've seen this with many traders over the years, ZTech and SouthWestZed to name but a few. On a positive spin there are some awesome vendors and services on here who I've had nothing but first rate experiences with. Jimmer (PowerZed), Mondo (Hide n Seat) and Mr F (MJP) are all at the top of their game with great service and quality and continue time after time to offer this consistently. I've been very lucky that other than a dodgy engine I was sold by an unscrupulous forum member about 12 years ago, I have had nothing but excellent experiences from vendors on here (the 3 listed being the best and most recent).
  18. You're participating in this thread though!
  19. I wouldn't tar everyone with the same brush. We do have a very highly regarded and highly skilled Z specialist (PowerZed).
  20. That is really really low. To add the two folk I know on here who have the highest standards of workmanship I've experienced in many many years (Jim and yourself) appear to both have been slagged off. Just very bizarre and immature behaviour.
  21. I couldn't believe that when I heard about that. I was gobsmacked.
  22. That's what SouthwestZed and ZTech used to do with customers cars. Doing shitty stuff will always catch up with you. Well at least you know where there's a good single peice prop that was ordered and never paid for!
  23. Yeah that's pretty shocking. Not sure what I'd think. I've had friends shaft me before (over a woman actually) and that made me bitter and numb. Lies and deceit are pretty hard to swallow when they come from someone you considered 'friend'. Wonder what is going on.....
