  1. That's happened to me once....in a convertible....with roof down....with me in it! Felt like a bucket of concrete had been thrown at me. All over the shop. On the seats, dash, all up the car, in my hair! They'd all taken off from a building at the same time and all decided to empty their bowels.....at the same time! Nice huh!
  2. Something I aim to do at some point! Z1 prop and Nismo gearbox mount. :) Glad you saw a healthy improvement! :)
  3. I think for a neat look, you should fibreglass the actual surround and paint it rather than the silver foil/duct tape look. Would look a lot more slick and professional. Quite a bit of work involved though. If you're going to make a feature of it as you have done, then IMO, it has to look slick. :)
  4. Have you checked your TPS switch hasn't come unplugged?
  5. When do you need this doing by? I'm in Essex/Kent area toward the 3rd week of December......I have some spare ties and a gun.
  6. Might be worth while using a steel cable tie then....but you'll need an applicator tool....which I have.
  7. Can't say it's an attractive install by any stretch of the imagination. But well done for trying. :)
  8. That sucks. I'd be going up there and demanding it. Anyway, I am sure you'll find a way. :)
  9. Still no joy on getting your money back from Monsieur Haricot?
  10. Your eyes are as degraded as your floor pan.
  11. Thought you were getting an M3 anyway!? You're as bad as StellaZ! hehe
  12. These might sponsor you.... http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Nl1/Newsroom/DG_178251 Hehe ;) On a lighter note, you'd need to see different people. I'd suggest you have a chat with some good bodyshops that would do a good grade of paint job that could maybe sticker your car up or something? Maybe Jeff's one might?
  13. Personally would go 245 and 275 respectively. You'll get stretch with those tyres rather than a nice flush tyre wall.
  14. Very nice and I like your plans for the car!
  15. They look ok... not as good as 99 rears. ;) Nice to see another Z on the road. Looked great coming toward me. You can spot the ruddy things a mile off!
  16. Driving toward Newport. Had afterburner lights and smooth tailgate and 99 spec front end. I was in a black 56 plate Seat Leon that flashed you.
  17. Cool...maybe Wednesday evening. I'm off to the Channel Islands tomorrow.
  18. I got your message the other day Jim and was gonna suggest Tony as I know that he's working down here at the moment. Tony has suggested meeting up sometime this week, so you should come along too!
  19. A'pexi. Testing has proved this. Best flow rate Vs Filtration. No reason to buy any other. Unfortunately, it's one of the most expensive ones.
  20. Fit another chip IMO. You can never be sure how aggressive the map is on a Mines ECU...or any socketed ECU for that matter.
  21. It's got a chip carrier, so therefore is not a stock chip. But it's kind of irrelevant since you don't actually know what map the chip has on it. Could be a JDM chip and may be mapped for a different octane fuel. Best thing to do is fit a 'known' chip from John Dixon, Zedworld, AndyP or DTA.
  22. Nsx. Just don't fit vented wings and a large spoiler to it! LOL
